Wonderful to see Billy T's face again, and Don Selwyn (customs man at the end). His charisma and talent is outstanding. I remember the laughs he used to bring to our household. Dad used to love watching him and giving him a rib at Grandma's place. It's nice to reminisce once in a while.

Billy T James was simply amazing. My word he could sing, play the piano, guitar and was great to see live. I saw Billy at a Drury Sportsman of the Year award in Auckland - 1985 and he had everybody in stitches. A truly amazing and talented man who I had a lot of time for. RIP Billy.

Billy is one of those rare figures for whom the label 'genius' seems inadequate. There would be little doubt in most Kiwis' minds that Bill remains to this day the greatest entertainer in NZ history...and he's not likely to be toppled from that perch any time soon! If one measures a person's worth in how much happiness they bring to others, then BTJ was a true titan. He is legend....he is Billy T!
