  • Here in California Emergency Response is much quicker. Just dialing 911 and officers come over right away, no matter where you live.

  • I agree this operator does need more training, yes these questions need to be asked but she just isn't doing a very good job at asking them!!! I would have hung up a long time ago!! P.S. Nancy Grace Rocks!!!

By the way I don't think the caller was unwilling to give info....He's in a state of shock....image someone crawling up to your front door in the middle of the night covered in blood...DUHHH! Peace Out

  • I think you all are wrong for judging the 911 operator. Its not easy! As you can hear the caller is right there and is unable and unwilling to give information or even try to get it from the other person. The operator has no way to know whats going on and no way to give pre-arrival instructions because the caller is very uncooperative. If Nancy Grace from CNN would help educated the public instead of acting like the operator did something wrong, more lives could be saved with 911 pre-arrivals.

  • Ok, this is for everyone who wants to sit and judge the 911 operator who took this call. By the comments that have been posted so far I see that none of you have any knowledge or experience in Emergency Services at all. So to inform you there is a thing called Pro Qa questions that every operator must ask on every 911 call by law and that is exactly what this operator was doing. So before you sit and judge you should know what you are talking about !!!

  • That operator needs more training!!! good god that poor man having to deal with her as well as the injured person. what an awful incident

  • There seems to be more and more crimes like this happening, and we are always "shocked". These crimes are truly horrific and on the rise.

The coldness of it was heart wrenching. That she could even condemn her baby brothers to death was chilling. An 8 year old ran through with a sword?

And then to have sex after words and sleep like nothing happened? So brutally cold and inhuman.

  • I just read the story of this fatality and how on earth can some answer all the none sence questions being asked if all he knows is that someone had just barely crawled to his front yard and for the operator to expect the neighbour to know the complete details of it instead of reasuring the neighbour who made the call that the ambulance and/or the police it's on the way is completely insane.

  • this was horrific....my parents live a quarter mile from here....
