There's that one melodic motif that's first stated at 0:22 and is restated throughout the piece that just makes you go "mmmm"

Yup. I got this Jam Pack called Symphony Orchestra that adds a ton of FANTASTIC software instruments to garageband. That's a large part of what makes these sound so great!

As a matter of fact it IS possible to print parts from Garageband...but if I was to do that I'd rather use a real sheet music program like finale to make it look nice, and I'd do some slight changing up.

I think the true difficulty is FINDING a symphony that'd play it, not to mention I think you need permission before publishing music like that.

@GRonnoc Permission aside, you might be able to send James Levine a fan email. He's done things like Zelda music before, and I'm sure he would be very pleased to hear a suggestion like this! I plan to suggest him the Dissidia arrangement of Final Fantasy IV's Dreadful Fight music. Here's to hoping he gets better, and you really should start this project up again.

Actually, those would be marimbas, haha! Different from xylophones because they have a warmer, richer sound.

Who says I can't add a bit of my own flair to these songs when I remix them? It keeps things fresh and interesting!

Well finishing off all these will take me a good while. If I decide to keep doing pokemon I'll probably move to Gold and Silver (which'll be more of a true challange, compared to these, which aren't that hard to make, because there's so little to those gameboy songs).

Along the way I'd also like to compose a few of my own songs, which I'm sure will get better then my first original song as I practice composition more.
