  • by the picture of this video i thought the deer's rack was on fuckin fire!

  • hahaa i love how the rabbit runs off in the background like oh shit oh no ive seen this shit before lol:P

  • did you take him?

  • Damn what a nice spread! Did you take him or let him keep growing?

  • i like guns...i have a few my self i shoot targets, cans ya know i dont think i would make a good hunter...i like animals and not in a hippy way i just think animals are beautiful especially deer and bear...for me it would take having to hunt to eat for me to want to...id shoot squirrels or racoons snakes too

  • at 0:33 he looks like the buck on whitetail imperial products

  • just how they say everything is bigger in TEXAS

  • Shoot that thing!!!!

  • @USAShooting27 You ever here of managment? If you DON`T shoot that deer. That deer WILL hae offspring, making MORE big deer like that one.. Some people are so illiterate.

  • Wow. Interesting to see how some people are talking about this deer. It's big, no it isn't. It's a high fence (even though I never saw a fence in the video), we got bigger deer where I live, why didn't you shoot it, blah, blah, blah...

Fact is, this deer is awsome no matter where you are from. Most hunters don't get to see a deer of this caliber let alone video or kill it. I live and hunt in Saskatchewan and can tell you they don't come this good often, even here. Great buck, great video!

  • Magnificent deer!!!! Good idea not to shoot it and let him keep breeding. His offspring will be great.

  • drools.....right now im craving venison and i also like the antlers and skulls :( but its pretty so meh :P

  • Excellent buck, no doubt! But how tall is the fence around him?

  • @231MasseyFerguson Just a regular old low fence.

  • @231MasseyFerguson probably just high enough he can't jump over it and just low enough he can't get under it either

  • Its perfect i have a lease in south texas and we have many deer like that,But just never come out...

  • haha rabbit 0:15

  • funny east texas bucks r big bodied but never come out at day, west and central texas they r tiny and every where then in south texas they r big and r everywhere

  • texas hunting/ texas bucks. what a joke!

  • That is a beauty Texas buck. We just got a nice 10 pointer here in the Adirondacks of NY State this season. Not as big of a rack as that, but still nice!! I added a video of it on my page.

  • What a beautiful buck. i this a south texas buck?

  • @fadingabel7 Yes it is!

  • Yep Hes a Nice One,Sure Looks Tasty to me!Im Just glad To See,More and More People Take Management More Serious,Its Not just a feeder a week befor Season,Its More than just food plots,Its All Of it,Varmit control(not just Coyotes, bobcats)But Racoons,Possum,Ferrel House Cats!Yep and Over populated Deer. And This Hog Problem,They Sure are Yummy!I Wish someone would ask Me,To come Harvest some Wild Hogs,Have Gun,Will Travel!

  • the light hitting the antlers was absolutely beautiful

  • Id have to say Texas winters (being mild) plus the natural nutrients help them grow, but what do I know Im from Alaska. We have THE tastiest deer on the planet, lil sitka black-tails.

  • where minimal rain fall does not allow a great forage crop such as corn or beans to be grown, a protien feeder can be considered a food plot in a barrel. But there are also ranches in texas where food plots are used without protien feeders and without high game fences and these ranches produce monsters as well. The amount of inches of antler is the same whether on a Midwest or Southern buck. Period. Thank you Redsneckboy for agreeing with me and showing logic

  • Being a South Texas rancher, I would be willing to bet that S. Texas has more natural protein than anywhere in the midwest. Black Brush, kindey wood, juallia, mesquite beans, and many more (forbs) all are high in natural protein. Tyler is right! I think it is a jealousy thing. We just have so many deer and such good natural food. South Texas is a tough place to make a living for man or deer. And still, we have nice deer.

  • One more thing, how come our little scrawny 180 lbs deer (on protein) are out producing Midwest deer (on protein)?? must be part of the a natural protein found in the native habitat. Supplements are supplements. Take one of your midwest deer and bring him to South Texas and really watch him flourish. Frankly however, I don't like the horns of northern deer. I guess if you grow up eating skunk, you hanker for it as an adult.

  • @TheBerryRanch Im Just Glad to See management done Right,Yes Texas has Lots of Things for Deer To eat,But Deer Grow to there inviroment.I Hunt All Over and All over Texas Too!The Deer That Live In Desert and Canyon areas, are Like Goats,The Hill Country has some Of The Biggest deer In The World(real Monsters)But East texas your lookin at a Deer You would see In any of the Southern States,LA,Miss,Alabama,Fl.But There Here Now!

  • Ok i am not going to argue with the score of that buck because it will go nowhere. However, there ARE big racked bucks that are grown in Texas without the use of high game fences. Most of these deer are helped by the use of protien feeders, but a good deal of them have come from natural terrain and food plots only. You made a comment regarding how our deer dont have "natural" food sources? Well fyi crops are not "natural" considering they are put into the ground by humans. So in parts of Texas-

  • we got some big bucks in buda, texas. the bigest one ive seen was a 16 point and had a monster body

  • Comment removed

  • Dear 69carman

I am sorry but your comment is far from correct. Yes the midwest does produce monsters, but south texas produces 180's and higher every year including a good amount over 200 inches. Some of these deer are even killed with archery equipment. For you to estimate this buck in the 150's is sad. This buck is a 160-170 buck no questions asked wheather on a body average for a Texas deer, or a body on a huge midwest deer. That buck is not average for the Midwest. It is BIG anywhere.

  • tylerpridmore. I have been scoring deer for 27 yrs. and you have a hard time judging them on a video. This rack looks bigger, because it is on a 140 lb deer in Texas. Put this rack on a 245 lb Iowa buck and it would put it into perspective, The only huge racks in Texas are on high fenced canned hunts where the owner has dumped out tons of bait out for a hunt and supplements for antler growth. They just don't have the natural food source like the midwest. Like I said before It's still a nice vid

  • You are seriously telling me the only large racks in texas are behind high fences? Because the lease we are on there are no fences and every year there are 150 to 200 inch bucks taken from our lease and its all due to good management practices.

  • @69carman

Your so right. One day Texas will kill one big enough to make the books. I would score him at around 110. lmao Wait, I stand corrected. We do have a couple in the books. And don't give me that bullshit that they are all behind high fences. Boone and Crockett will not accept deer killed behind high fences!!! Have you ever hunted in Texas?? Probably not, you are just repeating what you have read. Get a clue before you spew that crap all over the internet!!!!

  • @ranman7209 Get a clue? Igot several clues, and in fact I did read alot of my info on the B+C website. It will show you the top states and counties in the U.S. Try actually looking up the facts before you refer to them as crap. Iowa is a state that is only a 5th the size of Texass and over the years we have consistantly had twice the entries into the record books for Pope and Young and Boone and Crockett as Texas.

  • @69carman And uh......... where in the hell do you get this information???? Earlier you said deer in Iowa bucks weigh around 245, now the average deer in Iowa weighs 265. And average good sized buck in Texas weighs 210?????????? That's a joke right. Good size buck in Texas is around 180. I can see you sitting your little happy azz in your recliner with your laptop surrounded by old hunting magazines, filling the rest of the world with your vast knowledge.

  • @69carman And also, pull up that little boone and crockett web site and take a peek at the size of the area in Texas where all of our book bucks come from. Not even a fifth of the size of Iowa!!!! Here's my point......... 160-200 inches of bone is still 160-200 inches no matter if it's on a jackrabbit or an elephant. And your comment about "only huge racks in Texas come from high fenced canned hunts".What a joke! Ever get off that recliner and chase a buck around 22,000 acres. Didn't think so!

  • @ranman7209 My point I was making is when you watch Texas hunts on TV the deer look huge until the hunter grabs the antlers and you have him to compare the deer rack and body to. The average good sized Texas buck weighs around 210 lbs. The average weight of a Midwest or Iowa buck is 265 lbs. There is a considerable difference and you can see it when the hunter is next to the deer to compare. Your DNR laws are different also. It's a hell of a lot easier to kill an animal if you bait them to you!

  • how can u can that hunting going out everyday noing that your going to see one

  • Decent buck. Big for Texas, but average for the midwest. Iowa deer are much bigger. This is an average buck for there. The bodies on these Southern deer are so small, it makes the rack look huge in the videos. I would put him at 150 B+C at a high guess. Some people enjoy hunting on Texas ranches, because it is an easy hunt with a high power. I enjoy the challenge of bow hunting more. Nice video though.

  • @69carman uhh.. i hunt and live in the midwest and trust me.. that is a big deer anywhere u hunt.. you are way wrong on that one buddy . and ur telling me that deer would only score 150? your way wrong there to

  • damn. SHOOT aha

  • @cmarek1989 Its called food you dumbass cunt.We don't need to go to walmart for our food we work for it unlike you city bitches

  • Comment removed

  • @chadreedfan221 seriously, calling some1 names doesnt show much of ur own inteligence..first of all...my city has 30 000 residents which in american measures is more like village. Second of all...if it is food as you say i dont see any problem with shooting it...if population of deer is in this location in normal. Third of all, we dont have that peace of crap called wallmart...even McDonald and KFC isnt very popular here...But what can i know about deer hunting huh...i just live in country

  • @cmarek1989 Yeah your a piece of shit that has never seen a deer in person

  • @chadreedfan221 and you are 12 year old gipsy virgin whose father is rapis and mother is goat....im tired of u

  • @cmarek1989 To bad none of the above is true.

  • @chadreedfan221 over ran by deer....so what could i possibly know! Even tho we hunt them too, i can appreciate the beauty of living animel u jackass...which i cant realy tell about u by judging ur redneck reaction.

  • @huntingwarrior07 because he didnt have $14,000 to pay the guide sitting next to him......HA!

  • Very nieeeccce. Great footage, and the sun shot is a great one! *****
