I like putting in the All Fighters code, just to play both versions of Gaia against each other. And it is cool to shove it into the Super Game Boy, and enjoy the extra screen borders.

I was actually impressed by this fighting game for the gameboy as a kid. It's also one of the few gameboy games that had the Super Gameboy (snes adapter) in mind. If you play it on it you can see the background art for it. That's why even though it's not a Gameboy color game per say, it has some color in it. Overall the game is actually a lot of fun. I'd reckon it's the best gameboy fighting game ever made.... which I know is not saying much. XD

Actually, if you want the soundtrack for cheap, just go to any gamestop or online place that sells the original PS1 game. Buy it and then put it in your CD player. Start at track2 and go to town. Most 1st generation PS1 games have music you can listen to in a CD player :)

Yeah, it is a great fun game... I wasn't expecting it as the console Toshinden games are mediocre at best, but yeah, this one's good. Probably the best Toshinden game ever.

I do agree that it's best by far on Super Game Boy, though.

-Two player mode with SNES controllers, no link cable and second copy required.

-Nice colorization and borders, with different colors for each stage as you'd expect from the SGB.

-Higher third speed setting that is SGB exclusive.

So yeah, get it and play on SGB. :)

@PixelOutlaw Kind of similar due to both being made by Takara, looking similar, being SGB games, etc, but Toshinden is very fast paced, button-mashing-works entertainment, while Samurai Shodown is slow paced and deliberate as you'd expect from a Samsho game.

Oh, Samurai Shodown 1 was one of Takara's first GB fighting games and Toshinden came years later so Toshinden is more polished. (Takara did eight GB fighting games, four US released and four Japan only; Toshinden is the only non-SNK one)

Samurai Showdown GB I believe is made by this company. I play this game to see it beginning picture screen and the end picture screen. I always love to see 8-bit style picture. If you play this game and the Samurai Showdown on the Super Gameboy, you can use the SNES 2nd Controller to play as the second fighter.
