Exactly, I use TIdus, Leon/Squall, and sometimes Cloud and for some reason everyone i've seen use Tidus always go all out with hp attacks. It kills the action and takes forever to do any real damage

Two of the smallest DFF characters nailing each other. It's really funny when you're Onion Knight and you ONLY use brave attacks. Wait for a moment to strike and then friggin' waste everything. In the replay it's really good if you just dodge, counter-attack with brave moves and not loose health.

It's a game mechanic called "Brave". You can do light attacks that don't damage health, but steal your opponent's "brave". whatever number appears next to ur health is the amount of damage you do with you heavy attacks. hope that made sense to you. :)

but when fighting against them i dont find them challenging, i use zidane for the most part and squall and cloud use slow heavy attacks, where as zidane can easily slip behind them and deliver a painful free energy. in other words, zidane is underappreciated and im glad they put him in here he deserves more credit.
