Stop idioting us and trating us like fools.America and France as you dared to mention practise what is called CONSUMER PROTECTION and not PRICE CONTROL.Let the MPs pay taxes like the rest,enhance tax collection mechanism, reduce irrelevant expenditure like your bloated salaries,then build infrastructure and increase wages.Prices does not necessarily have to go down.Pay peole more they spend more and economy grows! Sheesh!

Who is the cartel in Kenya? Is it not MPs and their cronies? Yes, lets destroy the cartels, but not forget the reason why prices are perceived high in Kenya (though they are very low), POVERTY. If we had a stable government that attracts investments, gives everybody a good education and an opportunity to thrive in entrepreneurship, innovation, processing and manufacturing, then we could bury poverty and everyone would be enjoying stress free shopping albeit high prices.

Bad Idea. The surest way to bring down prices is to increase productivity and production, things price control is likely to stymie. Perhaps Mr. Maina should do a little soul searching to see if he has any role in this.Many know how he, through his Kirinyaga Construction Company bankrupted kenyans for no work done.This is a bad idea, the MPs should look for solutions some place else
