It appears that you have a skewed perception of a country that you know very little about, and it seems that you have a hate problem of your own.

And it is the assholes, the loud, rude, crude, indecent, ultra-religious, ultra-political, violent and stupid moral imbeciles that get the attention. People only take note of the absurd and bizarre, the average individuals that steadfastly pursue morality and decency as an everyday way of life don't get much attention, mainly because they are not looking for it. America is a huge country but you are drawing your conclusions about us from what you see in the media.
