The fact that u accept losing to Southern Cal at Pauley, but winning the season series as a success is a victory in of it-self. Never thought ucla hoops would relish the fact that they only lost to SC once during the regular season. In the old days, the ruins used to sweep SC every year. SC hoops must be doing something right now to warrant these posts by ucla fans.....

I'll let you have your basketball glory though since you guys have won one more championship than we have in the last 32 years, we will have our football, baseball, track and field, water polo, etc, and once in a while we will even beat you in basketball just to rub it in. Lets see. First what kind of guy calls people "dear"? Getting in touch with your feminine side? Second, I graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Civil Engineering. Both of those schools are ranked in the top 10 and are better than UCLA's programs. Other schools that are ranked above UCLA according to US News Reports, dental, cinema, business, etc. Our engineering school for one swims circles around UCLA's. (continued)

Thirdly the NCAA championship totals don't count football championships so add 11 more to USC's totals. Also the majority of UCLA's championships come from their women's teams, if you compare men's athletics USC actually has more championships than does FUCLA. Finally I got to say that I personally know President Sample and he is a great man. He has done a lot for our fine University in his stay there.

Simple Sample has done a great job in tweaking/skewing incoming freshmen grades in the past couple years to give the appearance of a first-rate University too. Nope, not saying that women's sports shouldn't count. I am just making a point that our men's athletic teams have won far more championships than you men's teams. I am perfectly willing to admit that UCLA has done better in women's sports but it is a fact that USC owns UCLA in men's sport championships. Don't Bruin your life.

I didn't apply to UCLA because I wasn't very impressed by their engineering program. I was however accepted to UC Berkeley's program so I don't think getting into UCLA would have been much of a challenge. :) I sense that you probably weren't able to get a scholarship to USC and weren't able to pay for it yourself so you settled on UCLA and are now bitter. This whole nonsense about tweaking scores is something that you are pulling out of your Bruin slacker ass.

Wait, what University is the most applied to school in the COUNTRY six years running? What University garners more worldwide recognition ANNUALLY (UCLA is in the top-10, $uc is somewhere in the 50's, btw...people in NYC think USC is the Univ. of South Carolina). And I don't know ONE SINGLE PERSON who gained admission to $uc AND UCLA, and went to the former! Haha, you lose! =(

Not sure if "most applied to" is something to brag about. It might mean that people think it is an easy in. Every misfit applies to UCLA. Look up the stats, I'm not making them up. USC's acceptance rate is 24.3% while UCLA's is 23.6%. Those numbers are very close. UCLA however accepted 38,896 students compared to USC's 33,408 and both schools are ranked as most selective. USC's undergraduate school has 16,000 students compared to UCLA's 26,000 so our student to faculty ratio is much better.
