This was a great movie, too. With the crap hitting the big screen for lesser attention spans (The Hangover was such a recent masterpiece!), I wonder if anything of this magnitude will ever be made again.
@Kwaj I always wondered what he meant by that line. surely he couldn't have had romantic feelings for the woman he grew up with in a mother-son relationship. Doesn't she cry "my son!" when they are taking her away? I always wondered what became of Armo after she disappeared
@NukeIt2Bdone When he was the puppet emperor in Manchukuo he would have her come visit him. In the movie, it showed her explaining to him as a bedtime story how she became his wet-nurse, but in reality he didn't find out about her sacrifice until after he was grown up.
love this one, fits good when aermo leaves the palace ( gates close) and same music used when his wife has to leave his resident ( gate closes again , and he is to late.) same music.
Not many movies would be as awesome as they are, without the great music that goes with it.

I was looking for this song FOREVER I heard this as a intro track to Janet Jackson's "If" during the "All for you" Tour in 2002

Quite simply the greatest theme from a movie score in HISTORY. And, I am not prone to Hypebole nor am I a good speller

"She is not my wet-nurse; she is my butterfly."
One of the most touching lines I've heard in a film paired with a brilliant track.

@Kwaj I have to admit, it is a touching line, but I could've sworn he was 8 years old or something when he said that...
