Playing this song for Sioux City North High Jazz Too, and I hope this is somewhat what we sound like. I get the solo for the trumpet. :D Sounded great overall, little squeaks in that solo, but then again, I'd probably screw up a note or two. ;) Great job!

this piece does go a lot faster compared to professional and some high school bands. But I like it this fast. My jazz band plays it at the slow tempo and it takes forever. Makes you want to go to sleep.

Forget the speed debate.......you guys sound SUPER, esPECIALLY in a slow song where it's so much tougher to stay in tune when every note lasts forever!!! Keep up the good work. Chuck, former tenor player

this is good. my jazz ensemble just played this and ours wuz 4:39. we got a recording from neil hefti and played at the same tempo.. i think they're fine. nice work guys!
