  • i saw defenders older than 1983, actually they were first launched on april 30 1948 by a guy named Maurice Wilks which was inspird by the jeep, and was used in 1 of the

world wars, along side the jeep willy's.

  • @296jayce built by maurice wilks

  • @296jayce

    SERIES LAND ROVERS,

    Defenders were post series.

  • i wonder which would have done a better job, the willys, of the first model land rover defender, that would be a sight to see! hahah lol :)

  • @296jayce

....Obviously the defender, being built in 1983.

  • nice old 3b being stock I think it did a great job

  • learn to drive one of them i got the same jeep and been in a lot harder places than that . and nice jeep

  • Nice old jeep!

  • lol !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 2:27 'tug tug' nope, that's not gonna work, alright! you're on your own from here!

  • Why does it struggle that much? Was the 4wd engaged?

  • lol it was my first time taking it offroad :-D

  • Glad to know I'm not the only one that has a idle problem at steep angles.

  • It's because the fuel rushes back toward the tank,

keep the revs up and the pump will keep sucking fuel through, then she won't stall

  • The fuel in the bowl on the older YF Carters is vented at the rear of the bowl minus the tube often seen sticking up in the carb throat. The gas runs to the rear of the bowl where the vent is and drains straight into the carb throat. If the fuel pump is that weak it won't lift then it should be rebuilt or replaced.

  • Excellent driving skills of the one who is driving.
