Not really, I would not count civilan casulties as they don't represent a challenge to the military, overall Nazi Germany lost 5.5 million soldiers while the Japanese lost 2.1 million.

Don't believe the "victory" battles from our bullshit propaganda. USMC had a humiliating panicked retreat in Korea. Chinese kicked their asses. The VERY FACT that there was a Fullujah 2 and 3 should tell you something. Our boys have never been very effective in battle, but we have a lot of em and a lot of equipment to make up for it.

I say that we are one of the most effective fighting forces the world has ever known, but I do agree that what we see on television is a "watered down" or "treated" version from what really goes on. Soldiers are rarely as happy as they are in the footage. And as for the Marines? I am not going to say that they are better, or that they are worse than any other branch, but I do know that they have much more propaganda, which is why the public views them as "the best", the truth is that none are.

What rubbish!! The Canadians shipped in huge amounts of supplies. The Poles defended the British in the Battle of Britain. The Australians stood alone against the Germans and Italians in the desert. A New Zealand was in charge of the defense of London during the Battle of Britain. The French fought off the Germans during the Battle of France, and let the British Army escape. The Rhodesians/South Africans fought against Rommel in the desert and were a big part in the special operations there.

No dude, this is real. Color film was expensive, and most newsreels couldn't afford to use it, so you didn't see much of it there. There is a ton of U.S. color film in the Pacific, because it was widely available in the U.S. After the war began, it was difficult to find in Germany.

Not really, I would not count civilan casulties as they don't represent a challenge to the military, overall Nazi Germany lost 5.5 million soldiers while the Japanese lost 2.1 million.
