yeah, well i don't do vacations like normal people. i was planning on attending McGill as a medical student, then found out americans pay 30K a year in tuition. eastern canada is beautiful, and very green and colorful and lovely with birds and flowers, but it costs more for school than i want to pay. i was a commercial print model in Morristown New Jersey and that paid for my undergraduate tuition at university here in Arizona. what kind of employment is available in quebec! bonsoir, peas
@TahraSonia I thought Americans would be less since youd be learning in a different country? There are plenty of jobs that dont require you to speak french, it just depends in what field of work you want. For instance, I worked in the video game industry for quite a while (5 years) although the minimum salary is about 10$ per hour (or more depending on the ocmpany) you dont have to speak any french! If youre serious about it, Im sure I can ask around for the field of work youd want:)
@MsPtitsA Last time I checked, it costs Canadian citizens $6000 a year to go to medical school, and $30000 for us foreigners! I would go back to school here in the U.S., but there's little work available and millions of people looking for jobs. C'est horrible. You must be finished with dental school by now, I'm wondering if you started a new job doing that. Thanks for the offer to ask around for me, but I have to sell my house before I can do anything else:)
@TahraSonia Heh, I ended up not doing dental school as the job I had at the time paid just as much. So now Im wokring a better job, but doing school at night for something I will actually like :) Talk to you soon! Good luck on selling the house!
@MsPtitsA It was five years ago you worked for cns canadian facts, and I started watching your videos. Since then I have worked as a truck driver, at a hardware store, rented out rooms in my house, stocked shelves at grocery stores, installed carpets, fences, cabinets. Before all that, I worked as a machinist, and in the military, the police, modeling...And I can no longer find work here! If there's plenty of jobs in Montreal, I want to go there. Parlez moi francais? Not yet:)
@TahraSonia yeah TNS, survey house, not the best job in the world but pays more than minimum wage :P But you do indeed need to speak french for a job like that. I suggest you check on monster.ca or jobboom.com for jobs in montreal, then youll know what kind of work you can find here, if its suitable for you and all that jazz :) Craiglist also has jobs... my brothers been working for 4 years or so at the same place found through CL and hes making good dinero :)
@MsPtitsA sounds great! i don't mind working for minimum wage, just want to get out of the house. the worst job for me was with the prescott valley police, a bunch of thugs and killers. i quit in less than a year. right now, i'm living off a few hundred dollars a month from an old retired tenant that pays me rent. it's so nice to hear from you again:) thought i was boring you with my uninteresting details! please give your fans another vid. 8-). -E
@TahraSonia no not at all! Ive just been extremely busy with work and school, i have one night off a week (friday) and one day on the weekend. I tend to go see friends on those nights so you can imagine how crazy it is! But I do indeed want to do a new song. I was thinking Big Love by fleetwood mac. Or maybe another. Well see ;)
@TahraSonia And, ill show oyu the version thats best, not the one on the cd, but one of the live versions theyve got. ht tp :// groove shark. com /#!/s/Big+Love/1gy8WG?src=5
