Which founding father did Oscar play? I thought that Ernie would choose a duck for the national bird.

We are in the middle of the SECOND American Revolution. Caroll and Oscar should join the protests! It's a good time to be a patriot!

How did that baby Muppet get into Continental Congress if she doesn't know the definition of voting or national bird, and has no shame in asking?

I agree! Its totally unrealistic. There is no way I'd ever vote for Elmo!

How old is this segment? I can't remember seeing this one!

It's from approximately 1986. I was three then and I remember seeing it. Plus Elmo was a fairly new character then.

I cannot remember this one. I wonder why this did not show in Trinidad
Probably because it wouldn't have meant much to children there---it's about the founding of the United States (well, sort of).
So i totally remember watching it - i'm 26 years old so take it back to the 85 or 86 as stated above. its one of my favorite sesame streets!
