hey, i am really wanting to get into scca racing what all do you have to do to get in i live pretty close to VIR and would really like to race a 944 do you have to get a licence or go through course to race?

For this type of racing I think a regional SCCA licence will do, and yes that requires a course.

To race in scca (like these guys) you need to join the scca, get a physical, attend at least 1 scca drivers school (probably 2).
