I didn't get mad at the source for REAL cures for cancer as well as depression and most all illnesses known to man. Instead I felt burnt that I had not come across this information sooner. THAT weighs hard on the heart. If anything I was pissed that the pharmeceutical industry knows about these cures yet have swept it under the carpet.

I used to believe that there were songs by original bands that people could/should not cover. Imagine was one of those songs, timeless, simple, beautifully crafted and child like? imagine no countries, religion etc, simple but true! I honestly believe this lady had a voice that would turn heads! this song just shows me that you can cover a song like this but!!!!! you have to be a very gifted artist to not only put your own stamp on it but, make it believeable!!! she did it with bells on!!!!

And the song composer was not drunk when he compose this song. It was a desire in his heart that was aching for God, which made him to put down what he feel about his life. The composer is trying to explain his hunger or longing for something to fulfill his unlimited desire for God.

Personally I came here to listen to the song and not get hung up on the message within the song. However you interpret the lyrics written by Lennon this is a great song sung by a female vocalist the likes of which will never be seen again so just enjoy :)

If someone doesn't believe in the devil, then they will just think you are inventing a story about their future, which you cannot know, using fictional characters. If you're really interested in helping people see the light, I suspect you'll have to be more convincing than that.

This song says nothing about hating God...It's saying, "Imagine what it would be like if there was no fighting...if people didn't hate each other just because they are of a different race, or have different beliefs...imagine what it would be like if no one was dying for want of good food, water, clothing, and shelter, or because of a more powerful person's greed..." Just found Eva Cassidy yesterday. Oh my God, what talent. Her voice so pure and her style so sincere. So sad that she is gone. A tragedy that she isn't around now to put out beautiful quality music, compared to what sells nowadays. If the saying the good die young is true...........

I love eva cassidy, she was first introduced to me by my mother in law who sadly died of cancer, and I have marveled at the beautiful rich tones and clarity in her voice ever since. Had Eva not died so young of cancer herself I have no doubt she would be one of todays superstar female vocalists. @philbill43 sarah billington has a simply stuning voice for 15, thanks for the tip.
