Downloading them isn't bad.. it's when people download them and then sell them which buggs me off because it's like you could get it for free but they have the nerve to tell you they didn't download it on a disk or it wasn't them. I know that on average, the musical artists earns appr. 2 US$. If i download a cd I like, I pay the 2$ to the artist if possible, but every artist should make it easy to pay them. That's my biggest problem, how to pay them. Maybe some recordlabels prohibits them to get paid externally for their production, but I dunno...
How come so many countries made it illegal to download mediafiles? I understand that if the fileprovider profits on ads and membershipfees, it should be illegal. It's true that big studios make a lot of money and you could argue that they exploit artists. But the fact is, the "sharing is groooovy, maaan!" camp have not come up with a better alternative. How many successful, entertaining, made-to-be-free movies exist? (Big Buck Bunny doesn't count).

Many "External Drives" are just internal drives with a nifty adapter and enclosure. More often than not, they simply contain a standard desktop HDD inside! Usually, the exact same controller PCBs are used with the different capacities sold as well, with only the drive inside and the printing on the housing changed.
You can usually just drop a beefier (and cheaper) desktop HDD inside the case, and it will detect and run just fine.
i do the same thing, XD I took the nice 2TB HDD that was inside the external I got, and Put it as my C: , Then I took my old 1TB C: and replaced my 750GB D:

2TB external drives are way more expensive than their internal brown box cousins. If you already have an external drive that is fairly new, odds are that the drive inside is just an ordinary SATA drive, that you can just swap out for the brown box special from NewEgg.

This is because the "OEM" package is intended for system builders, and are usually bought and sold in bulk, while the white box offerings intended for one-off sales, and they try to rape you with retail markups.
NewEgg and Pricewatch can sell you OEM packaged items, if you look for them.

If a dvd or cd was arround 5 bucks i wouldnt mind, but doesn't make much sence to pay arround 20 $ for something i don't even know im gonna enjoy. *Hint,
Many "External Drives" are just internal drives with a nifty adapter and enclosure. More often than not, they simply contain a standard desktop HDD inside! Usually, the exact same controller PCBs are used with the different capacities sold as well, with only the drive inside and the printing on the housing changed.
You can usually just drop a beefier (and cheaper) desktop HDD inside the case, and it will detect and run just fine.

2TB external drives are way more expensive than their internal brown box cousins. If you already have an external drive that is fairly new, odds are that the drive inside is just an ordinary SATA drive, that you can just swap out for the brown box special from NewEgg.

Actually, it was the other way around;
Usually you can get internal drives far cheaper than external ones, because you are not buying a smexy enclosure. If you already have an enclosure, you certainly don't need another one. :D
Getting an "OEM" packaged harddrive (which usually comes in a bland brown box.) is usually even cheaper than a whitebox HDD, even if the actual drives inside are identical. (EG, "OEM" western digital 2tb will be cheaper than the commercial box 2tb western digital)

This is because the "OEM" package is intended for system builders, and are usually bought and sold in bulk, while the white box offerings intended for one-off sales, and they try to rape you with retail markups.
NewEgg and Pricewatch can sell you OEM packaged items, if you look for them.
