@mamatamba2 Yes, you are right, the xbox 360 did hold back the ps3 version, but i don't think in the linear style of the game, the xbox 360 version still could do that big zone after chapter 9, I think in ways the 360 held back the PS3 version but i think even if it was PS3 exclusive they would of still designed it with the linear idea in mind. They must have had an idea how they were going to design the mechanics and stuff of the game all the way back in like 2006 when they announced it, :)

its not. the 360 vertion is 576p upscales to 720p for gameplay and cutscenes. if a game is upscaled hd then its not actualy hd. the ps3 vertion is native 720p for gameplay and cutscenes are native 1080p. its a BIG difference

if you're tempted but unsure i recommend just waiting for versus XIII it's set in the same universe as XIII cept non of the characters or locations are the same, the main 2 characters look totally bad-ass too, unlike all these new age japanese emo types.
