I'm a woman and I would never get married. My parents were married for 20 years and my mother left him a couple of years ago for no good reason and they got divorced. She has an education and is a registered nurse with a good job and worked most of her life, but my father was forced to pay her thousands of dollars a month for life and it makes me sick. Now he can't retire and he's worked so fucking hard his whole life and he has to pay the woman who left him. I will NEVER be like my mother.

Social commentary can also be extremely damaging if it is incorrect or creates a destructive paradigm. Either way, artists are of lesser value to society than garbage men, doctors, teachers, construction workers, and everyone else who actually WORKS. They are valuable, just not AS valuable.
