this is closer to the truth than many people realise. My son went to school in lethbridge alberta lakeview elementry. the bullies would not recieve a punishment because of their home situations. When I finaly told my son to defend himself he recieved punishments from the vice principle. he recieved a poor grade under the heading of handles situations appropriatly. I told him to be proud of that grtade he stood up for himself. he is an A-B student who never had problems before.
What happens when you try to hit an animal? He defends himself. Same happens with humans, you dont have to let the abuse grow. If your son harms really bad a bullie is OK, tell him to break his nose if he can.
Sometimes life is like a jungle and you have to be strong, not a violent person but a strong one, and to take care of yourself and feel confident.
@coldshot357 I realise that this kind of sh*t continues no matter what anyone or anything does or doesn't do. I lived through a HORROR that no one should EVER experience. I am Learning Disabled and was made to feel like a RETARD(and was labelled on my School Transcripts - IDIOT/UNTEACHABLE), my school administration was my tormentor, refusing to help me with my assignments. A quote(You are NOT in the 80-90% and are not entitled to extra help - from my grade 9 biology teacher)
I wish justice like this could of been served during the days I was bullied. Glad to see that the reality of bullying is acknowledge on this.
