  • ladies and gents attention!

  • Am I the only one who prefers the new reactionaries version?

  • @Youdrongo I'm with ya. There both sick but the new reactionaries verion is pure distgusting illness.

  • @Youdrongo I love the new reactionaries version and I can't find it any where in youtube? It is much more hardcore

  • love the beastie boys dont get me wrong but does ne 1 else think mike d and mca sound the same?

  • @therealdavewhalen MCA is the one with the deep voice son.

  • @jayjacobson14 oh your right my bad...i always think its ad rock until i remeber the line "im a lumberjack dj ad rock"

  • @therealdavewhalen ummm.. no... they dont... at all

  • @blowtube23 Give it up!? Bro listen to Make Some Noise; Don't Play No Game That I Can't Win; Pop Your Balloon; Here's A Little Something For Ya. All tracks from the same album. Beastie Boys are STILL the best of the best, "On and on until the crack of dawn."

  • THIS SONG IS 4:20

  • I play this song like 7-8 times in my car.

  • Beastie Boys and Nas hang in the produce section because proper nutrition is important!

  • nas & the beastie boys grocery shop together lol

  • Hella tight.

  • @Uncle99b /watch?v=v04EbEVMg0A here is the video showing you that they make their own beats.

  • why is the version i bought off of itunes officially different from this song?? i am having an extremely hard time finding any videos of the version i have... but i bought my version... kinda confusing.

  • @crazyhiho Hot Sauce Committee Part 1 never dropped because MCA was diagnosed with cancer and they pushed the release date. Part 2 released as scheduled in May 2011 with almost the same track listing, with some adjustments, one being this song. The new version goes so much harder than this one; it's my favorite track off the album, though they are all incredible. One of the greatest albums I have ever listened to, ever. Been getting down on it something fierce these last few months ;)

  • 80's+90's+2000's X $Dope= Tha Shit

  • Ive been a fan of the Beastie boys waaay back in 3rd grade,im 33 now glad to hear another cut from the origanators of rap......

  • i never die, cuz death is the cousin of sleep !!! kick azz a tribute to NAS !!!

  • @jenstarz76 LOL my friend i believe its "I never sleep, cuz sleep is the cousin of death" but its all good

  • @steadyondatrigger if sleep is the cousin of death then death is the cousin of sleep. it works both ways.

  • @steadyondatrigger no shit idiot. he was repeating the lyric beasty boys just rapped. it was a tribute to that classic line from nas which you just wrote

  • EVERYBODY. SHUT. UP. The Beastie Boys are speaking...

  • Sorry for the double response. To conclude, @Uncle99B, you are wrong on 2 more counts. You likely reside with an incredibly small cohort that think the Beastie Boys are bad rappers. The early success of the BBoys can partially be pointed to Rick Rubin (a white guy). Later on the BBoys co-produced several albums with The Dust Brothers (also white guys). Do your research talking crap and subjecting people to pathetic slander and garbage.

Wow! Stunned by some of your boneheaded comments.

  • @Uncle99B. To answer your questions, yes, you are wrong. The Beasties do create their own beats. I actually just watched a fantastically interesting interview right here on youtube of Ad Rock elaborating on the creation process of some of their best known beats using various mixers and audio inventions of their own. Of course like virtually every other hip-hop/rap group, they don't create every single beat on every single track.

  • Always original, always cutting edge, always throwback, always old school, always fresh. They're rhymes are funny as hell, they never pretend to be nothing more than punk rockers who love to rhyme and love hip hop. What other white group has always stayed true to the form for over 20 years, fuck that what other group is still relevant after 25 plus years? NOBODY!!!

  • @uncle 99b. They play instruments (MCA-bass, Mike D-drums, Ad Rock-guitar). Mike D is a sick drummer. Ad Rock makes dope beats on the MPC. Sick rhymers. Catch up and look it up.

  • Of course, this version is different from the one on HSCP2.

  • @MeTaLLiCaT8282 This version's nearly 2 years old now though.

  • @HeadChestOrFoot Yeah, this one was suppose to be on HSCP1, right?

  • @MeTaLLiCaT8282 Im not 100% sure. It all got delayed when MCA got ill poor guy.

  • I like!

  • This is so sick it's a joke. Nas's rhymes are killer.

  • Go get yourself a copy of pauls boutique then. shut the hell up there freakin awesome!

  • Its just hard for most people to wrap there head around the fact that three white boys from new york could keep TRUE hip hop alive for almost 25 years. FUCK ALL YOU HATERS!

  • dang man why the hate these dudes paved the way not just for white people in hip hop but for hip hop @thegraffiteghost most of rappers 2day dont make there own beats so why bring that up its not even relavant and also there they have skills onda mic sure there not the best but i mean come on alot if new people that got on ie waka flocka flame soulja boy cant rap either

  • I'd beleive TheGraffiteGhost more if all of his (or hers) rants were rhymes... cmon' TheGraffiteGhost show us your skills!

  • Comment removed

  • Phat Mad Skillz Dope Beats Lick.

  • Dope new Song!!!! I think It will outsell last two albums, this is the Sound fans of Ill communications!!! Hell Yah!!!! I could let that album roll as we rolled out to the beach in Highschool, and this sounds like one that we will be able to let ROLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!! BB 4 Life Mutha Chugahsssssss!!!!!

  • LOVE IT!!!!! Nas fits well with the old school style of The Boys!

  • FAKE. The real song sounds nothing like this.

  • @Psythik This came out way before the one on the hot sauce committee 2. This version was on the first HSC album.

  • @Psythik This is the original from HSC Part 1

  • I hate when ppl come outta nowhere and diss another person's lifestyle & culture based on their own assumptions and perceptions (Uncle99B) as a perfect example, knows nothin of the hip hop way of life, and thus, embarrases himself and makes himself look like a total dipshit to those of us who know the real hip hop. No sir, Beastie Boys NEVER sold out, they've been true to the game since bboying day 1. So u can suck a dick and rant on the real mainstream devil media you tool...

  • @TheGraffiteGhost. Do you hate it when you veer off topic into an ad hominem attack on someone who posts a truth you don't want to think about? The Beasties best songs are beats written by black guys. Sorry

  • @Uncle99B lol. i know for a fact you ain't hip hop. so any comments left here in regards to disrespecting the Beastie Boys is invalid.

  • lol guys. ignore Uncle99B. He just trolls just about every video he watches and knows absolutely nothing of hip hop. Like the Beastie Boys, he's a white guy i bet. Cept he was never a bboy...Ignore the fakes. True school, real hip hop. Don't follow the fake cats like *cough Uncle99B *cough

  • @snoop0851 . They can't rap. They sample great beats created by others.

  • @Uncle99B lol. they been around waaaay longer than most likely who you listen to..learn ur roots if u talk about mceein history. and they aint crappers, they original hip hop mc's, don't get it twisted. respect the oldschool or ur nopt hip hop. real truth.

p.s. i know you a youngin cuz otherwise you'd b respecting them lol. so many young ppl give no respect and demand the world...

  • @TheGraffiteGhost . Any greatness in their songss come from the beats. Their rapping is mediocre. Seeing as how they don't write the beats it seems we have the latest chapter in white (often Jewish) men benefiting from the talent of black artists.

  • @Uncle99B : They do write their beat.

    Awful troll is awful.

  • @Chocolatmenthe They may do some sampling but definitely do not write their own beats.

  • @Uncle99B dude stfu b boys making their own shit since 83'

  • @abish21. They may do some sampling but definitely do not write their own beats.

  • @Uncle99B : Hey wake-up, it's hip-hop. Everybody sample, that's the point ~~ .

  • @Chocolatmenthe. Hey wake-up. The excellence in their songs is from the beats -- something they have nothing to do with. Unless you think their rapping is good -- something I think is far from the truth.

  • @Uncle99B : They didn't even sample for this LP, they did the beat themselve.

  • @Chocolatmenthe . Where did you get this info that the Beaties wrote this song? Maybe. It's not very good. Now "Make the Noise" is a very good cut. I'd bet dollars to donuts they did not write those beats.

  • @Uncle99B : They are mentionned as drummers, guitarist and bass player for all the songs.

  • @Chocolatmenthe. You do understand that there is a difference between writing songs and playing instruments?

  • @Uncle99B : You do understand that if there is no producer/songwriter beside the Beastie Boys listed and when the Beastie Boys was originally a punk band it's pretty obvious they did it themselves.

You obviously don't understand anything about hip-hop why commenting here ?

  • @Chocolatmenthe . The Beasties do NOT write their beats. I found this our a few years ago. I still love some of their songs, but now realize that the real talent lies with the black guys who write the beats, not the mediocre rappers who make all the dough.

  • @Uncle99B Actually they're producing Hot Sauce Committee Part 2 so ya. That is the first album produced entirely by them though so they didn't do all the work before haha.

  • @Uncle99B lol. regardless of their own music or not. their rap style pioneered the game and made history. you're just tryna disrespect them in all kinds a ways. thus you're a toy who don't know his place and just burnin on mad steam from who knows what. go listen to whatever u listen to, cuz obviously it's not real hip hop.

  • @TheGraffiteGhost . The fact is they do not write their music and it is in the writing that the talent lies. They are not good rappers.

  • @Uncle99B THEN WHY IS THERE SO MANY OF NAS'S LYRICS?? TO MANY BOUNDARYS TO CROSS HOMIE?? DAY GOT DA LICENCE TO ILL!!

  • @dabronxbudar . Christ, Beasties don't even write their own lyrics? So they don't write the beats, don't write the words, and are mediocre rappers at best. Perfect combination for stardom -- if you are connected Jewish guys

  • @Uncle99B hehe i bet you're starting to like this song, after all you keep coming back on this page :D

  • @DiscoFrisc0 . Nah. This song sux. Make Some Noise is quite good -- whoever wrote it (and it was not the Beasties) is very talented

  • @Uncle99B lol you're hella stupid right? like really hella right? you DO know that they were one of the first to sell ANY form of records. So if your dickriding 50cent's latest album, it's cuz these guys are some of the ppl that pioneered selling hip hop. And they've been makin their own shit since the 80's. You're just a no-nothing troll. Beastie Boys keep it true school with the breaks, shit ur eminem and 2pac never had..so u can shove off toy, cuz you must learn. lol so ignorant...

  • @TheGraffiteGhost . Sorry, but that last statement was incompehensible.

  • @Uncle99B lol ur just a flatout idiot. you do realize that they're not even rappers right? theyre emcees fool. and their rhyme style hasn't changed since the 80's, which is why u assume they're wack, cuz u dont know old school. same reason young cats today disrespect the og's, cuz they don't recognize game and substitute their own wack shit...

  • @TheGraffiteGhost . Of course they rap. Just not well. What they don't do is right the beats and apparently not the lyrics. The old tale of white Jews benefitting from black talent.

  • @TheGraffiteGhost You can say old school one million times if you like; it will not cause a genie to appear and give these no talents any skills

  • @Uncle99B you can shit talk all you want bout them. either way, their respect is unphased by your pointless trolling.

  • @TheGraffiteGhost . They don't write the music or the lyrics and are lousry rappers. What's not to respect?

  • @Uncle99B lol. there's so many things wrong with your accusations...1) they're not rappers. they're legitimate hip hop emcees. So any accusations saying they can't rap is completely null and void. 2)in original hip hop the beat was produced by the dj, not the emcee and the emcee only supplied the rhymes..know your hip hop history before you even type anymore fool.

  • @TheGraffiteGhost . (1) They aren't rappers? I agree, they are not talented rappers, but surely they are trying to rap? (2) They do not create the bests, we agree. WTF do they do?

  • @Uncle99B they make good music

  • @Uncle99B lol you're just ignorant. you don't know the past at all. back then these guys were the best in their day. the fact that they still emcee today shows that, unlike all the mainstream crap, these guys have legacy and they been doin it for 15+ years maybe more...so you literally dont know a thing about them. just listening to you trolling and repeating your assumptions is just amusing to everyone here. gtfo troll u serve no cause...

  • @TheGraffiteGhost . They have been doing what, exactly? Writing good beats? No, someone else does that for them. Rapping? Sort of -- just not very well. What exactly is it they do?

  • @Uncle99B what constitutes a good beat? This is iller than any of the shit that these cookie-cutter artists can make nowadays

  • @CookieWalka. A good beat is subjective. What is a fact is that the Beasties don't write the beats

  • @Uncle99B Not true. You don't know what you're talking about so why bother?

  • @Uncle99B they're emcees since the 80's. and the were also bboys. not like you even know what either of those are anyways...

  • @TheGraffiteGhost. I do know they do not write the beats and that they are mediocre rappers. Throw all the terms at me you like; those basic facts are obvious and do not change because you don't like to read it

  • @Uncle99B lol. the arguement still stands. you're uneducated on what rappers & emcees are. thus, your accusation still does nothing lol. Pfft rappers... who the hell thinks Beastie Boys are rappers are srsly dumbasses ahahah!

  • @TheGraffiteGhost . What do the Beasties do? They don't (according to you) rap. They don't write the lyrics. I guess they do nothing. And, if so, why do you so defend them?

Take yout time and try to respond with pertinent fact. "Lol" and "they're emcees" "and bboys" don't qualify for reasons I hope even you understand

  • @Uncle99B

they sold 1000000000000 of vinyl records in 1985 and you were not even born

one of the first big def jam releases was from the beasie boys

.. do us a favor , shutup your ignorant youngsta mouth

  • @Uncle99B You are an internet troll and a fuckin clown

  • @guyvh. The Beasties don't write the beats. Am I wrong? They are not good rappers. Am I wrong? What do they do? Other than get rich and famous off of the talent of black people?

  • @Uncle99B

Beastie Boys write the beat and they can rthyme serious shit, they produce their own music, they shoot their own MV, they play instruments of their music (except percussion, keyboard), the only two things they can't do are 1.dancing like

M.C. Hammer, 2. spin the vinyl (but they have the no.1 Mr. Master Mike with them, who, unfortunately, is also not black, gonna blame him living off black too?).

  • @yingiho. The Beastie Boys do NOT write the beats. If they did, they would deserve respect. But they dont

  • @Uncle99B

    you're wrong

as Example , the credits on "Licensed to ill" LP (1986)

    # Producer – Beastie Boys , Rick Rubin

    # Engineer [Head] – Steve Ett

    # Lead Guitar – Kerry King (tracks: B1)

    # Mastered By – Howie Weinberg

  • @jemiedub. Jews taken credit and money for songs written and performed by blacks did not exactly begin with hip hop; this goes back to before the advent of rock and roll. Surely you are aware of this?

  • @Uncle99B They most certainly write, produce all of their own music(obviously they have help), they are good rappers(in fact better then most new colored rappers). They are getting famous of their own talent, Hip Hop is not a black or white thing, it's music. If you where a true Hip Hop head you wouldn't be claiming it's a black thing. Real Hip Hop is so much more.

  • @Exera80. "Colored" rappers. Are you 90 years old?

  • @Uncle99B I'll remember this come christmas time....")~

  • @Uncle99B Yes you're wrong. On every account. Hip Hop is not about color, real Hip Hop is about the lifestyle, the music and everyone coming together and being one big happy famiy regardless of what color your skin has.

  • @Uncle99B lol srsly, like u cant even grasp the fact that you're still saying "emcees rap"...srsly ur just a tape recorder set on stupid...emcees emcee and rappers rap, dumbass get ur shit straight. Lol, i can defend them and still get more respect than ur unintelligent ass..mr.knows nothing of the game at all ahahha. come back when u know something about oldschool before u question oldschool cats with ur newschool accusations..

  • pauls boutiquitte was one of the gr8est albums ever.. beastie boys still throw down. i remember the beastie groove. they thru down and always have.

  • Nice one, that drop around 2:20 is sick..they still got it..

  • MCA is so fucking raw..

  • I hate how people turn music into reality TV with their conversations about who is better, and who started what. Your not a fan of music, you just like name dropping.

  • Damn, that kicked ass.

  • in the vegetable section? GANGSTUUUUHHHHH

  • @TheAkizo - Lmfao. They GANSTUUUUUHHHHH!!

  • @TheAkizo gotta get that green ya knoooooow!!

  • Haha....did anyone else hear MCA diss Will-i-am?.....get your hologram up off of Wolf Blitzer.

  • wow.

    Nas and the Beasties.

I wonder if they'll ever do a song with El-P, Busdriver, Kool Keith and Das Racist.

    ?

  • its funny because they're legends/innovators in hip-hop - yet they have a ringtone

  • @JonneyeTV

how are these two things at all inconsistent?

  • @JonneyeTV it's hard for underground/real mcees to compete wit the devil mainstream. even a ringtone helps em make a living...

  • @buzzman182 and funk 4+1, Kool Moe Dee and the Treacherous 3, Get Fresh Crew, Juice Crew, Grandmaster Caz, DJ Kool Herc, and much more as well.

  • Why must people argue over who's the best, if your here you either enjoy the beastie boys, enjoy nas, enjoy both or are a hater that needs to go eat a dick. Nobody wants to know if you think tupac was better than rakim or run dmc had a bigger impact than nwa. Enjoy the song or move on.

  • This is hell of funny we have people putting tupac biggie and nas in there top 5 and including nwa? Have you all forgot about rakim and krs one? Also beastie boys are the first good white MC's.

  • im tired of retards sayin these and run dmc created hip hop. They both amazing but they cant be given sole credit and there were earlier groups before them ie grandmasterflash and the furious five

  • here's my own top

    1 - Beastie Boys

    2 - Run DMC

    That's it

Maybe 3 - Strong Arm Steady

  • This is fact : Beastie Boys were one of the first rap groups ever signed and were and have been at the foreground of pioneering Hip-Hop since day one of inception.Every single rapper you like and know about owes a huge credit to what these guys have done.In fact to a degree, some of the rappers you know might not even have existed if not for these guys. But there is a difference between rappers and emcees. These guys are emcees. If you don't know the difference, you have no business speaking out

  • hmmm never expected this! Nas and Beasties? dont what to think yet, but i think i like it......ya respect for Nas gott a little greater too!!!

  • respect for Nas just skyrocketed

  • mike cheque

it bounced , but in a funky beat way ,,yaaaaw

  • very few groups get better with age,Beastie boys are one of them

  • Nas is in everyones top 3 Beasties are in my top 5

    1.BIG

    2.pac

    3.Nas

    4.Beastie Boys

5.mike shinoda (linkin Park Fort Minor)

  • @5620200391 Linkin Park is in your top 5? Really? . . . Dude. . .

  • @5620200391 duuuuuude die

  • They were the first to prove you didn't have to be a certain stereotype to be a rapper and be respected for the music you made. The fact a rapper like Nas worked with them is proof enough of their impact i don't see Nas collabing with many artists these days do you?

  • @Butteryjam Jay-Z also said the beastie boys were one of his biggest inspirations when he first started out

  • B-Boys were second wave of hippity hops goods. And they did everyone proud by pushing the limits like noone else could.

So good that they are still totes relevant after almost 30 years. It's effin crazy to think that they've been rockin it that long.

  • all you kids out there listening to that bubblegum shit mainstream. you think you can just come up in here and hate on these guys? these guys fuckin invented the mainstream.

  • Did they make a video with Nas where they ran around inside a grocery store? I need to see that video right now, nurgle.

  • Long live the Boys Entering Anarchistic States Towards Internal Excellence!!! Forever Respect from Down Under!!

  • nice jewish boys

  • thumbs up if you would rather MC's over Rappers

  • Dog, I love Nas and The Beastie Boys are straight but I'm sorry...this song is terrible.

  • @KrfNYC2 You ve obviously never heard the beastie boys then, this song is pretty good for 40 year olds

  • @quote55 I've heard them.

  • @KrfNYC2 no what i meant is this is like quintessential 90's besatie boys, you probably have only heard their old shit and newer shit

  • @quote55 I've heard enough I think. But...why don't you suggest some tracks?

  • @KrfNYC2 Stand Together, Jimmy James, Pass the Mic, finger Licken' Good These are like beastie boys golden age songs hope you enjoy

  • @quote55 try 45 ,44 and 43 year olds they passed the 40 mark a few years back.

  • @gamster68 Ya well close enough eh?

  • @KrfNYC2 if you hate it why did this post attract your attention ????

  • @gamster68 because i need to hear it before i can decide wether or not i like it.

  • @KrfNYC2 let me guess you listen to that soulja boy young weezy playground shit. Fuck that do your research and learn where they got their influence, it all started right here. Them and DMC

  • @superfamouskids No I don't. Please don't be offended, but I honestly don't understand why some people think that just because another doesn't like ONE "real" hip-hop song or group that they probably listen to Soulja Boy and Lil' Wayne. I understand that they were influential...but I'm just not feeling it.

  • i like how mca and nas flipped a line froem each other i dont know how many caught that or which ones i'm talking about, ....listen if you can spot them too

  • sorry but this is the leaked version. dont lie on ur vid u can obviously this isnt studio quality

  • Didn't nas work with Immortal technique too?

  • @LittleEmoBoy001 It was allegedly recorded but never released.

  • Fuck cancer! MCA has always been my favorite Beastie. These guys are still great & even better working with another future legend.

  • @WEEZER08274MH how can you have a favorite beastie boy lol

  • Keeping it real-Thanks heaven, Beasties back and no collabo with Justine Bieber!

All these other desperate Wappers like Ludacris-Fake Drake selling their souls for a dollar! That's why the Beasties still around with their Loyal Fans-No Sell Out!!!!!!

  • you guys talkin so much shit... quote Pauls Boutique "Now if Ur world was all black, if Ur world was all white. Then You would'nt get much colour outta life now right"?

where you's think the influence comes from? take Ur vibrators out your mouths... get outside and see the world... leave home...

  • Guys, I wast just kidding, obviously :D !!

I love the beastie boys to death. I have Licensed to Ill on LP, everything else on CD or iTunes. I wish hiphop was more like the beastie boys, no offence to 50 cent or soulja-boy fans, but I like it oldskool I guess :D (wutang is different hiphop but i like that also) sorry if I offended anyone, but it was meant sarcastic, not to be taken seriously..

  • Part of the video should be them walkiing around in the grocery store, walking toward the camera, and them rhyming right in your face!
