  • i can't understand why tigermilk is always rated lower than if you're feeling sinister. I think they're both great, but tigermilk is still easily the better more interesting record. Love this song.

  • i love this song, i am a fetus btw.

  • the best song EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! =D

  • @DaniKarenina Better than the songs of Mortiis?

  • Oh love of mine, would you condescend to help me because I'm stupid and blind?

  • The most heartfelt song from the most heartfelt band. Simply brilliant

  • this song is fun to listen to while peeing....awwww i love it!

  • @iAmWatchingYouu How long does it take you to pee?

  • @PeaceboneGotFound lmao not for the whole song...maybe if i drank a 40!

  • @iAmWatchingYouu taking a long piss asserrts ur dominance to the others using the urinals imo.

  • This song makes me want to run

  • @sushimonsterosity XD that's quite true

  • The amount of memories this song brings back.

  • Belle and Sebastian are very cherishable

  • I guess it's my favorite from Belle & Sebastian. Great song!

  • 3 people are not in this state.

  • oh...this explains seeing other people lol

  • Yes, B & S are the greatest Scottish band of all time. The first time you hear them, they sound a bit pretentious, somewhat fey, overly art school. But after a couple of listens their songs have grown on you to the extent that they become the soundtrack to your life. Resistance ultimately is futile, but avoid listening to interviews with members of the group, as they unfailingly come across as the sort of precious Byres Road pseuds you would indeed cross the road to avoid.

  • @CONTREDIT you couldn't have described them better.

  • @CONTREDIT I agree with every word of that! It made me smile because it's so true :)

  • @CONTREDIT jesus and mary chain are the greatest Scottish band ever

  • I don't have the certainty to call this my favorite song, but it probably is.

  • They really are magical. Everything they do has this amazing melodic joy to it.

  • Thank you!

  • Is it just me or is Belle and Sebastian the greatest band ever ? Seriously, at least on every cd there are at least 7 songs i Love. So relaxing music but so catchy and enjoyable. If you want to get into a band that has spirit and will bring you joy, i Highly recommend this band.

  • @MattSnacks Nicely put.

  • meh

  • pitchfork's number 17 best song of the 90's woo

  • @grrrrrrrrawk

  • every time i hear this song, it makes me smile, think, laugh and almost cry. wow! i love this band!

looking forward to seeing them in October:)

  • lol gay

  • I like the EP version better. Its also on the compilation, 'Push Barman to Open Old Wounds'

  • THERE AND BACK AGAIN.

  • Hmmm...minimalist video. Better than a lot of current offerings though!

"Now I spend my days turning tables round in Marks and Spencer. They don't seem to mind." Gotta love 'em.

Great tune IMHO. Proper song writing. Not just some knob-head with a half-baked idea and a drum loop.

  • awesome song!

    love Belle & Sabastian

  • Almost the best Scottish band ever.

  • this song is so perfect :D

  • Fell in love with this group when I was at UCLA back in 1999 . . . This is a perfect album and a perfect song!

  • mmmmmmmmm

  • @owenlewisaidan Aye those were the days...

  • @owenlewisaidan newfag

  • @owenlewisaidan Then I doubt you know what this is.

  • @owenlewisaidan I hate it when people say things like this. You're not twelve (a twelve-year old would never that) You just want the thumbs up

  • @owenlewisaidan shut up

  • @owenlewisaidan listen....you hear that?.......silence....that's how many f***s i give

  • @owenlewisaidan AMAZING MAKES ME THINK OF BEING BORN LISTENING TO THIS. I AM A BABY.

  • @owenlewisaidan

    and now you are 14!

  • ah the reliance on chinese drugs.

  • great song and album

  • is the album as good as this song?

  • Yes.

  • Is it worth buying then?

  • This album is a must if you like the song. You may also want to buy "Stars of Track and Field" by same band. Beautiful

  • How long have Belle and Sebastian been strumming their wares?

  • yes

  • Your answer falls short. How long have they been melodisizing?

  • a while

  • Can't you be any more specific in your portentions?

  • hell yeah!

  • Thank you, flord. When did you begin them?

  • dude, the album is top 10 debuts ever

    in my honest opinion (-;

  • What about Glasvegas?

  • not in the same league. A v poor band )-;

Good Glasgow nabd? Try The Phantom Band!

  • Why don't you like Glasvegas?

  • They are very much 1 dimensional

Some crackin songs, I really like Geraldine. Overall they just do no cut it.

    In my honest opinion!

  • That is a point to merit discussion. Which particular single dimension do they occupy?

  • just one particular (-;

    ps

    check out frightend rabbit and all (-;

  • Who are The Frightened Rabbit?

  • @dowling1981 Frightened Rabbit are another awesome Scottish band! loads of them actually.... in no particular order -

Malcolm Middleton (used to be in Arab Strap who are all ace!) Mogwai, Boards of Canada, Ballboy, Idlewild, Belle&Sebastian, Jesus & Marychain, Primal Scream, Isobel Campbell, looper, Biffy Cylro, Beta Band, Annie Christian, Amy MacDonald, john Martyn

I could go on! Scotland Rocks

  • @northcountrybhoy I love Boards of Canada. It's great music to read to. Have you heard all of their albums?

  • Great tune, hadnt heard it before. i play "made to listen to vids" on youtube all the time because you can just do something else while the song is playing

  • post expectations

  • i love this song!

  • Beautiful Song!!! My fav B & S song. I can't believe someone who goes by Nightmarish666 uploaded this hippie-ish shit! Thanks anyways!!!

  • fuckin class

  • many thanks for sharing this! lovely stuff. "my brother had confessed he was gay/ it took the heat off me for awhile"

  • I always misheard the lyric as "My brother confessed that he was gay/And that he loved me for a while"

  • My favorite B & S song. Thanks! There is another version that isn't as melodic, although I think it's built on the same basic track.

  • Is that the one on "Push Barman"? I bought that album because I wanted to listen to this song and then it was a different version to the one I'd heard before.

  • No. this is not the one on "Push Barman"

  • the other version is from the "dog on wheels" single, which is also on "push barman"

  • cool song love it
