Wow I see all these great Olympic legends and they all start training when they are like todlers! I'm 12 and I wanna become a gymnast but will it be too late? I hope I can eventually make the Olympic Team one day! (Doubt it). And also all these girls put so much hard effort and work into their Gymnastics and it all turns out perfect but then for some reason at a huge competition something bad happens and their dreams are crushed. Great Video Though!

i wouldn't worry too much about your age, as long as you want to do it bc you love the sport and you find value in, not bc you want to become famous or win an olympic medal. it's never too late to set out to something you love. i once read a quote that said "never give up on a dream due to the amount of time it will take. the time will pass anyway." so go for it if thats what you really want. i'm 23 and working on getting back into the gym. so its never too late! good luck!!!

Dominique didn't leave Romania, her parents did. She was born here in the US.

I remember when I was like 11 during the 96 Olympics, and I had the biggest crush on her. She was very good at what she did, its too bad she had her injury in 2000 that kept her from the Olympics.

she's pursuing a business degree, coaching part time and make special appearance. in 2004 she launched her own competition Dominique Moceanu Invitational. in the same year she launched Dominique Moceanu Bobblehead Doll. she got married last year to Dr.Michael Canales a former gymnast! Nadia comaneci was at her wedding. Dominique lives in cleveland ohio. and if you think you lost on her check out her sister christina a high school graduate! she's not as hot as dominique but she's cute:)

umm i think you're confused with some other gymnast. Dominique Moceanu was never picked up by her coach becasue of a great victory, so really only won one big thing throughout her career. sorry.
