  • nothing says fail like getting shot by your own dudes

  • @mackshayster he was shot by nervous north carolina picketts who mistook him and his staff for ferderal cavalry

  • The Union forever!

  • I will always love Dixie-I will give it all I got AMEN!

  • The Ku-Klux-Klan was, in its original formation, meant to protect Southerners from Northern occupants(soldiers) and carpet baggers, then later on, they started to terrorize America, however ,they also adopted and used the US flag, which they still do today, in fact, more then the Confederate flag. Did they have their faults? Yes, but, so does everyone.

  • @Grenadeout Also, the capital of the KKK in the 20th Century was in Indiana, in the North

  • @Grenadeout to be clear they didn't terrorize the south the original kkk disbanded and this new group of aholes stole their markings for PR just like the cross the southern cross and the Stars and stripes. One of the reasons this new group is always pissing me off

  • @proc4619 Dishonoring the flag is what they do, cowards, and feed the race hustlers ammo!

  • i salute the south and all its fallen men MAY WE SOUTHERNERS LIVE ON

  • Thomas J. Jackson was a brave and resourceful soldier. He had his oddities but the man was a tactical genius and had excellent troops under his command. Only a fool-hardy streak of over-aggressiveness lead to his demise.

  • rebel, it almost sounds like ur in the KKC.-- no offence.

  • @Ksgamer103 Not every pro-confederate is a member of the Ku klux Klan

It's written with a K. I know, it should be with a C, but racists are stoupit people ;-)

  • @ViccardXViccc You call the KKK Pro-Confederates? Screw those Racist Bastards who Spoil our flag. They don't give a damn on what the Csa really fought for, They just hate Non-Whites and more.

  • @jediguardian1 Can't agree with you more

  • @jediguardian1

    Amen brother.

  • @Ksgamer103 The civil war was about state rights more than slavery and the KKK came after the war.

  • @TotalWarTactics I am a Civil War historian...read your history texts a little more thoroughly. The Civil War was about slavery. You say it was about states rights...yes...but states rights to do what????.......the right to own slaves. It all goes back to slavery in the end. Actually, it all goes back to slavery since the Constitution...

  • Is there something wrong with this thing? i can't see my posted message, even after 10 minutes

  • anyone care to guess as to why their is a red bar on the edge of the CSA Naval flag?

  • @silentkyle11 You mean the flag to the right? It's the third national flag of the CSA. The first was the the star and bars(the one on the left), the second was the same as the third, but without the red bar.

Because the second flag was for a great part white, people thought that it was the flag to surrender. So, they put a red bar on it, just to make sure people didn't became confused.

  • @ViccardXViccc i heard when it would be raised wind could often wrap the flag around it self hiding the upper right hand corner so the red bar was added because it would just look like a blank white surrender flag

  • @silentkyle11 That's kind of what i'm saying i guess... :-p

  • I'm not a Thomas Jonathan Jackson fan...but I enjoy this tune.

  • Dixieland, where I Life and stand!!!

  • hehehehehehehehe, Union for the Win! btw, i do respect the Confederacy except the whole slavery thing, equality people, equality....

  • @wrestlingluva There were black slave owners and black Confederates, we knew equality before the north.

  • This is one of my favorite civil war songs. I'm trying to learn it on the fife for reenactments.

  • TSWRA!! We're not fighting for Slavery or Jim Crow, but for freedom and a way of life. Screw Capitalism, screw Corporatism. Our big businesses will be the plantation elite, and our common man a happy an of the soil or honest labor. That's the REAL america, and that's what we fought for then, and that's what we'll fight for now. God Save the South!

  • A nice little refrain, well played by this band. The actual well-known lyrics would have been a terrific added touch, & would have given the song a much more powerful, stirring dimension to it. The lyrics richly protray just why T.J. Jackson was probably, next to R. E. Lee, the most revered and popular-amongst-the-troops general of the War. Period. I personally, having made a study of his life & military career, consider him by far the most capable, visionary strategist of the entire war.

  • I don't recall this song being in the movie, Gettysburg.

  • the lyrics and the longer version are found of the video called: Tribute to Stonewall Jackson

those are the keywords, not the full title I believe. search it on youtube

  • Sounds nice :)
