@MartinTheMad I looked it up, actually, I thought it was a helmet cam, which is what I am interested in. But when I looked up kodak zi8 its a hand held camera,  which is not what I'm looking for. Yes, I'm in Taiwan.

@LostHemingway You can buy the ContourHD in Taiwan off of Yahoo auctions (up to $14k). Some motorcycle shops also have cameras in there for sale, or you can just ask them. They might be able to order one for you. Where in TW do you live? I'm in Taoyuan County.

Ideally, What I'd like to do is hook up a little camera to my helmet and hopefully have a mic hooked up so I can record speaking while I ride. Any ideas? I guess I'd also need a new helmet (only have a 3/4  so there'd be a lot of wind noise, I imagine, even with visor down.

@LostHemingway Yeah it's pretty expensive. Bad thing about the Contour is the mic, too. So, it's no good for you. The reason I got the kodak was to do just that. I've done a few vids like that but never kept it up. My main purpose for the cam was for my own safety. Another you could try is Vio POV. But, even more expensive. Does have a mic though. The best thing you can do is keep it simple. Any excess wires are a real pain in the butt. I used to use a cam hooked up to a dvr recorder. Horrible!

@67kneil It was a little girl. A real one. Saw her with my own eyes. She was sleeping in the box. The granny kicked her head up as not to clip her head as she went between cars. I did see her moving, so she wasn't dead and definitely real.
