A single, but sincere, recitation of Amitabha's name is said to purify innumerable obstacles. Being mindful of the Buddha is being mindful of our own True Nature - the Enlightened Nature. The Buddha said that the Pure Land isn't far; as said in the Vimalakirti Sutra " if we want to see the Pure Land, we should purify our minds."

Purifying the mind through Amitabha mindfulness is indeed a supreme method.

I would recommend you to learn more about Buddhism and the teaching of the Buddha. The only illusion is to believe your life is eternity. emotions are emptiness, it rise and go away. It comes and goes. I do not understand what you mean living isolated from society. Your statement is unclear. Pure Land Practice is a method of keeping mind pure. When a mind is pure, one can see with his or her mind better. All hatred, anger, and such arise from deluded mind, and it is source of suffering.

Buddhas Lands/ Pure Lands are created by the Buddhas' Pure Mind. Namo Amitabha :)
