You're a bit mixed up on the timlines here pal. Muslims developed what they learnt from the greeks hundreds of years after. My maths curriculum all the way into college has been mainly greek created maths. Europeans then developed further the maths of modern day from muslims in the renaissance.

What you don't know is that scholarly academia has been a hallmark of islamic sciences since its inception in the 8th century AD. Many parts of the muslim world lost that that tradition except in some places like Turkey, Egypt, Morrocco. Thats what this video is about. You're a bit mixed up on the timlines here pal. Muslims developed what they learnt from the greeks hundreds of years after. My maths curriculum all the way into college has been mainly greek created maths. Europeans then developed further the maths of modern day from muslims in the renaissance.

Many parts of the muslim world lost that that tradition except in some places like Turkey, Egypt, Morrocco. Thats what this video is about.
