I guess the "b-movie" thing stems from the fact that it didn't hold up so well in terms of pop-culture success over the years. It was huge, then gone. For me, it's always remained a favorite, but I'm not the type to forget what I like.

I've watched Congo 3 times recently to see if it lived up to the suspense it instilled in me at the movie theaters when I was 15(now 30), and while not as nerve-racking as it was back then, it still keeps me interested. The time length of this movie(just short of 2 hours) allows it to be such a long journey and build and show so many things. One of the best B-movies out there, and of course half the crew also did Jurassic Park, etc. so it's no surprise. Thanks for great opening movie tune.
