In other words "We gave it away to get a base of users and now that we discovered we can make money we will". Don't have a problem with that, just say it like it is. Too bad they are going to screw it all up by following the Microsoft "Lets make a million different versions" software model
I don't forsee any issues with this. My company started using the free version in March, which I got trained on and am able to use with my eyes closed, and a month later Pro came out. I've gotten a handle on the program and I think its exponentially better than the free version. Makes it easier to do forensic acquisitions, which is 99% of my work, and leaves less time in code for bothersome drives. Two thumbs up from me.
