  • what a waste of time, yes it works but you have to start from the beginning if you want to do it again

  • @DarthMufin

potatoes. what a waste of time. you have to prepare them every day again after you ate them :(

  • @megalomania345 your comparing burning a match with eating potatoes? xD

  • instead of using filament can i replaced it using copper wire?

  • Get a lighter and light the match the end.

  • So much work for just a small match. Waste of time. You can only use it once anyways.

  • @rocketpro22

That's not the point, he just showed you how to make a simple detonator without calling it one.

  • i sucks to much work

  • O MY GOD I WAISTED 7 MINS OF MY LIFE WHEN DURING THAT TIME I COULD HAVE GOTTEN A BLOWJOB

  • @chocolateman1999

    would have bitten anyway

  • how many volts do u have to get for the ignition? :)

  • @kirren97 he uses 6v

  • @kitler01 ok, it dont worl for mee...

  • or you could get get a fero rod or a zippo

  • cool

  • @rgnr81 because this is a better more fun way of doing it and it's a great way to lite fireworks and all for a safe distance thanks so muck for the tut I'll subscribe right now

  • @afghanman27911 if you are that worried about fireworks to be making these to light them then you don't need to be messing with fireworks.

  • @soccerballtux

thats not the point. the point is now you have the power to let a microcontroller control your fireworks. like with an Arduino board.

and you can use remote wireless transmitter to start your show :-) electronic controlled fireworks is just cool :-)

  • Why don't I just buy a lighter

  • Why do you have a resistor and a diode when you have a switch cutting right thru to the terminal at 6:35?

  • @dcross412 it indicates that the E.Match is ok! and connected correctly, the diode is an LED, the switch bypasses the indicator and set off the e.match.

Im making these now, but cant find a hobby box alt for the 'strand' @ 4:17

  • 3:53 - human

  • @mice512 LOL, Agreed!

  • @mice512

    Human with elephant penis :D

  • what kind of filament is that ? where you got it from

  • i don't get it because its one time use ever hear of a striker or strike any where matches oooooo magical

  • must have alot of time on your hands....

  • I tried with 4.8 v, but it did not work, so I set at 220 V, was very cheerful! :@@@@@

  • Overly complicated, just blow up a resistor

  • seems like to much work for something that will only burn for like 3 sec's

  • i like it and it looked pretty cool but at the end of making i would ask myself each time if it was really worth it other than that for small scale detonations it would work well

  • where do you buy nicrome wire?

  • @david1513 ebay its 100 ft for like $8

  • @smeagle9999 why not use course stell wool number 3 and just pull a strand out and solider it in place, it works great then dip it in pyrodex desolve it with a few drops of water ,make a paste out of it and dip your fuse into it and alow to dry for a hour its compleateley dry to rock hard in two hours use the pyrodex used in muzzel loaders, 50 cal pellets 40 are like $13 at walmart and rule king gun shops also have it,, makes the best fuse ive seen so far plus it ignites with lower voltage 4.8v

  • @david1513 I've never tried that but I've seen videos on it.... for nichrome wire you just wrap it arounf kno3 paper and mayber sprinkle in some powder of some sort and it works at around 6v

  • @david1513 Hey Man look up on eBay

30 feet 42 guage Resistance Nichrome Wire

  • @soroka69 thank you but im useing number 3 steel wood it works great,

  • Unspeechable

  • This is definitely an ingenious way to make an e-match. I just wanted to add that in place of a light bulb filament, you can purchase NiChrome wire for a reasonable price. Look for 32 gauge or smaller (higher number).

  • I tried this and the filament wont light up : / how many volts do u run through it to make the filament ignite? ]plzzzz reply asap

  • all this work to light a match

  • @cramit22 lol, when you need to be 100 feet away it time of ignition, this is worth every step it saves you in the running portion

  • @cramit22 not just a match

  • @cramit22 its so you can use it on a detonator we use them at school for our bombs

  • @cramit22 Well if you make a cannon that uses matcheads , or match rockets it comes in handy

  • cool method
