Democrat "leaders" proudly betrayed America; openly boasted they were "dismantling" our intelligence agencies, "brick by brick" (Dellums). From the peanut farmer (Carter) to the horny hick (Clinton), they worked for decades to blind America to her enemies. After their victories, like 9/11, they shamelessly point to the damage as if it's "evidence" of their opposition's guilt. Democrat voters and their Islamists cheer.
I'm so very sorry the propaganda has taken its toll on you. But you keep feeding their machine if you must. Hurry, Fox is interviewing Britney Spears in thirty minutes, if you hurry you can catch it.
Your comment is absolutely one of the most clueless comments (in a large field) I have seen in a while.

'The Bush Admin has nearly single-handedly brought a multipolar world into existence.' Given their moral compass, that's probably the harshest criticism you could ever throw their way.
I can't say that war with Iran would be almost inconceivable for Bush/Cheney and that gas prices would be one of the great barriers to war. I think that all they would need (and I wouldn't put it past them or orchestrate) is another terrorist attack. A large scale scare is all that they and all the redneck idiots would need in this country to start waving their damn flags and chanting "bomb the hell out of them" again. The past would be forgotten, no lessons learned.
I'm beginning to think that the US military is getting free oil pumped from Iraq, while everyone else pays a huge price per barrel. A great strategy if you want to impair your "potential enemies" mobility.
I'm thinking the military is getting oil from Iraq, circumventing the cost of oil that every other country pays, therefore the US military will remain mobile while everyone (including potential enemies) are significantly impaired by cost.
@commandersquash ...or we can form a monetary union with Zimbabwe.

Maybe some oil, but I don't think Iraq has functional refineries to produce the fuel most needed for military equipment.

I am not sure I agree with the very last statement... "that they never wanted."
I cannot help but believe that what is happening is precisely what they wanted to happen.

Exactly. I still remember the quaint old days, when there was a "trading range" for oil, of $27.50+/-$2.50
Now oil is >500% more expensive, and oil company profits are through the roof.
Sounds like a reasonable outcome, if you are a Texas oil exec, or one of their puppets.

I'm an army vet and I've worked for DoD for 30 years. I'm a liberal, too. I think these guys are really on to something...
