I'm a Republican too and I vote across the board. Ron Paul is the only true conservative. Unfortunately politics in general have degenerated. I vote for the least harmful instead of the BEST candidate. Let's stick to Palin. She's off the map. She honors William Sewards endurance in securing Alaska and in the same breath QUITS. Also, the Iraqi casualty list has been inflated and propagandized. Most civilians in Iraq are killed by IEDs and car bombs (i.e., by terrorists not by the American military). This was a fact of life there before we ever went into Iraq.

He was attacked for this in the media by Reps then Bush adopted his timeline. I watched it. Part of the surge worked because deaths were down although people were still being killed. However it STILL did not meet our objectives which I already noted.

I disagree about exports. If every country just made what they needed for consumption they could see it to the consumers who live there. We save the environment from global shipping and everyone has a job. The US was a world leader when we manufactured. Now we can't buy a cup of coffee. Trading is good from an economic point of view. Supply and demand is the fundamental concepts of economics. However there are flaws such as taxation -where we pay taxes but other countries do not. But, I think that's so 3rd world will buy from us w/cheaper price. Then we are also importing more than exporting. I know this started to decline in '05 but not sure what' happening now -I'm sure it's a mess like everything else.

It is in the Bible -Jesus told us to separate church and state. "Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's" Dems do this while the so-called "family values" and "God believing" Reps do not. Abortion & gay rights are not in our constitution but Reps want this into law when clearly it is a religious issue which should be given to God. It's the Dems that want to revise our Constitution (and had success in getting the Supreme Court to overstep its bounds with Roe by inventing a provision which is NOT found there). No where in the document will you find that a fetus is a "non-person" but that is exactly how Roe was passed, they imposed their personal views onto it in order to satisfy the politics of the time.

They are not "accusations" but facts. Also people may be free to practice their religion as they please but not when holding a government office. We have seen radicals inject their personal beliefs into their policies and this is where it becomes radical polices such as abortion and gay rights.
