@nesatlas That would be cool, but you should maybe tell people in the how-to to give you credit, leave out the tools you use, because your videos wont be AS cool if everyone does that!
@thelastrequim The process is actually quite tedious and I wouldn't expect many people to attempt one anyways. Plus I've borrowed many things from others' work which culminate in this video so I feel I must give back to the community some how. I really just want to see more of these and the thought that somebody could make them better and push the boundary makes me giddy.
@VGMimix I've already looked into it actually, but the dungeon is larger than 1080p dimensions! This shouldn't stop me though. I honestly would like to do the entire game atlas-style ;)
This is awesome! Good job. I suppose that the flickering of certain moving platforms can't be fixed easily. By the way, I heard that you are doing Mystic Cave Zone Act 1 next. :D
@Zeupar Download the torrent file in the description. The flickering is because of YouTube compression which I can not avoid. The original file looks pretty much perfect I'd say! And I *have* thought about doing Mystic Cave Zone... but it's still up in the air ;)
How do you make these videos?

@thelastrequim Mainly with After Effects. I'm thinking about making a How-to soon...

You'd think the airship's design would be rather impractical for its intended use... How it stays together is anyone's guess.

@Pikachu4Prezident Blast Processing ®

@nesatlas A-yup. The more I think about it now, the ship looks like its still under construction, and Robotnik deployed it in an emergency.
The wonder of blast processing is pretty much keeping that thing from falling apart.

Can you actually play the game in that zoomed out way?

@FeanorBR I wish :(

@FamiTracker Yes! I definitely plan on making a few tutorials. First I need to get my website going though so it might be a month or two.

Wow, lovely work on this one, that intro was great. Make sure to pitch this in to the guys over at Sonic retro. They'll love it.
