Man I've been trying to find one of these used and it seems like nobody wants to get rid of the 09's..I find a handful of 08's and 10's and every now and then a blue 09 but I want the white. This fuckin blows..
@TheHondaryder17 Its a good quality product. It comes with gaskets that you have to use, and you can order spares from Boyesen as well. I have had some leak, but found that when you are installing, if the gasket gets any oil on it, and is not perfectly dry when you put the cover on, it will leak. If you get it on perfectly dry, then it is fine.
hey what is your rear suspension at, i think my stock one came with a 4.1 or 4.7 on an 08 yz250f but at 150lbs i didnt think it was the right one for me
u will be fine if u get a low seat and sofen suspension, although i do not recomend lowering the suspension, u should get a 150. i am selling a 150. if anyone is interested pls email me!
@BrokenImage55 m8 u asked this question 2 every 1 i have seen about 10 comments of u askin every 1 if i would fit u have said it on acrf250,yzf250 like 4 times and ur sayin it 2 the 450 now if they said no 2 u on the 250 ofcause they will say no on the 450!!
@BrokenImage55 haha i know old guys ur hight and they want the power of the 450 so what they have to do is every time they stop they just slip there butt off the seat and it works fer them kuz it's not like ur touching the ground when ur riding
These are sub-tank handlebars. The red knob regulates airflow between the forks and the handlebar sub-tank for adjustability. You can get these through Moose Racing.
oh you ride them hard do you. what class do you race? I rode the shit out of my 05 yz 250f and put about 100 hrs (maybe more) on it. and my shit ran fine before i sold it. ive seen more hondas blow up than anything.
i ride in the open class and win it almost every race, so i aint exactly gental with em, and as i said i have owned two and blew bothof them up within a year so i would know how good they are.
any bike will do that if you really ride it as hard as you say you do and dont maintain it. go to any shop that sells hondas and yamahas and ask them which lasts longer.
hey man, im looking for a new bike and would you recommend a 2009 yz250f or a 2009 crf250r.i will be trail riding, pretty open trails,3rd gear on ttr230, but i dount want a crf x or a wrf.thanks a lot
They are both great bikes, so this is a tough decision. If you were riding and racing just motocross, then I would go with the CRF for sure, but for trail riding the YZF is the way to go. It is low maintenance, super reliable and won't over heat on the trail. Not to mention it is super stable and has excellent stock suspension. Enjoy the new bike.
Everyone has their preferences. I have been riding my CRF250 for a while now, but just got back from riding my YZ450 and for me, the YZ450 is a far better machine in so many ways. If I was just riding motocross only, then I think the CRF250 would be a great choice, but if you get off the track, and out in the desert once in a while, the YZ has no peers.
Not that I am aware of, at least not in the US. I am not sure why you would want to anyway, but guess it would be fun to take the shortcuts to work on!
i wish i could say my stock 05 crf450 was that nice

Actually two things:
1. I usually only ride in the desert, so it only ever gets dusty. Dust is easy to wash off.
2. The magic of Simple Green! That stuff is awesome on a dirt bike.
