i think i will be getting it as well but i think its pointless what apple done to 24 inch ones , obviously nobody is gonna buy the 24 inch wen the a new with better stuff is here , they should just replace it completely like the way they do with the imacs and laptops

Once the 27-inch LED comes out in September Apple is going to discontinue the 24-30 inch Cinema Displays and the reason Apple lowered the 24 inch to $799 because Apple is trying to get rid of them faster because there not making the 24-inch anymore which weird but I will be getting the 27"inch in september and I can't wait either

@BritneyDigitalLive no this 27" LED is a stand alone display for desktops and laptops with mini display-port but Apple does have a 27-inch iMac Core i3,i5 and i7 check it out on apple site, are you planning on purchasing one?
