i think that 9v trains are better because you can actually put them togeter and create you own models but then again i dont know much about the 9vs so i really have no room to talk
RC is better. The 9V trains run slower as they move away from the point where the voltage is connected to the track, whereas the RC train's speed is constant (since the power source is IN the train engine).
Hell no, 9v is ten times better, if you are not an ideot and actually model, you know that is to big of a track plan is a problem, you just add more "points" where the voltage connects to the track.
9v also has infinite power, whereas the junkey RC has lame batteries, even the new litho ones are not up to par.
AND rc controllers suck-the new power funtions are better, but you have to have a ghost car along with a dummy engine (the car provides the power because it cant fit in the engine)
@tv97369 Too bad thatth RC system uses a ton of AAA batteries, and one change of batteries only ran my new RC train for a total of one hour. I would like to see a running 9V system for myself.
Sounds like some Dean Martin in the background music, am I right?

Just the 3 cars in the video. Not thinking of a 'B' unit conversion, although I've seen it done, and it looks cool!!
