Closed Captioning is a service that allows hard-of-hearing viewers to read what you're saying in real time.

In the lower right hand corner, there's an up arrow graphic. Mousing over it causes a menu graphic to rise with a "CC" on it. Notice the left arrow next to the "CC" graphic? Mouse over it to open a "Caption Actions" menu. If you click on "transcribe audio" it will (astonishingly inaccurately) attempt to sort out what you're saying at the bottom of the screen.

@JustinSandercoe Don't know if you ever got an answer, but I think by closed captioning he means the captions at the bottom of the screen. They transcribe your words to text on the bottom of the screen. You can turn it on by fiddling around with the button to the right of the button that maximizes your screen. These are found to the right of the big bar that shows video progress, which is at the bottom of the actual vid. Re-read this if its confusing.
