WEll, I HAVE FEW MATES whit Manual Xr6 turbos whit 250kw + at wheels and they run low to mid 13's,none end up with mid to high 12's coz cannot get TRACTION !
Moqawame if it was a ba turbo they do 13.7-13.9 stock at 240 flywheel kw's,if it has 290 flywheel kw's then im guessing the dweeb cant drive coz it shoul be goo for mid 12 pass,my FG XR6T runs 255rwkw's stock with back to back dyno runs to proove it,and a 13.27 on a very cold perth night
i drove the blue Commodore, i have L67 engine supercharged, boosted but auto and run MT semi sliks. The guy takes that ute at same mecahnic, he has the power at the wheels, but cannot drive it prople and is 2nd gear apparently is week ...
60 foot times is what lets the manuals down, the auto XR6 Turbo is much easier to launch than the manual equivalent. a friend and myself both XR6 T's, i have a little more power, i have manual, he has auto, down the 1/8th mile hes 0.3 secs quicker, as his 60 foot is better than mine... once mine gets moving i start to catch up though :P i also am quicker from a rolling start to..
manual XR6ts arent as quick as the autos and with 290kw is that at the engine or wheels? The way that XR went i would say at the engine and in that case its prob only good for a mid-high 13. what car were u driving?
i was in the blue one , with all bolt ons mods done !

ah k but its not that hard to launch a man tho rev it up to 2500 n relese the clutch without dumpn it to quickly if u get wat im sayn lol

i get what you're saying mate, but have you ever driven a manual XR6T? especially a modifed one?
also losing boost on gear changes is another issue with the manuals...
the point i'm getting at is auto XR6T's are faster than manuals, even if the manual is more fun ;)

boost starts at about 2k rpm, prob on full boost by 2700-2800 and holds flat all the the way to redline.

290 at the crank for sure unless something went wrong. 290 rwkw is good for a mid 12.
