  • Darrin: "You know Endora sometimes you can be almost human"

Endora:"This is no time to be Insulting"

    haha I love that part

  • I like how Sam looks perfect after delivery. I hope that is what's going to happen to me when I have a kid.

  • why commericals???????

  • sometimes i wish darrin would be more supportive to samantha

  • No flowers, but pipes are alright.

  • they were so mean back in the day.

  • The flowers will use up all the oxygen in the room! bahahaha.....

  • @wildbluefaerie Yes. A night time the plants will take in oxygen.

  • The part at 4:15 when Darrin and Endora are crying together is really sweet!! :)

  • @arleiabellewen Yes, it was.

  • THE BABY LOOKS LIKE E.T....PLEASE IS AWFUL!!!

  • Is that nurse the lady of Grease. The principal. It sounds an awful lot like her.

  • @floydie2112 I think im pretty sure it is

  • @floydie2112 Yes. Of course she had personal experiance. She starred in Our Miss Brooks in radio the television. Eve Ardin. Approx spelling. Lucille Ball's friend.

  • @MrReneManuel Ah okay. I wasn't too sure. Thank you. I watched it and I was like I'm pretty sure that's her. Thank you again.

  • I love that part

Darrin: "You know Endora sometimes you can be almost human"

Endora: "This is no time to be Insulting"

  • Serena always looks a bit younger than Samantha does.

  • I love this episode! Any episode with Tabatha is great. I have to love Tabatha since I was named after her.

  • "serena" looked more like samantha's normal self in this one. & she talks more like her normal self.

  • I like the later Serena better. This version is way too much like Samantha.

  • The nurse is someone famous...who is she?

  • @steveatl40 She is the lady who plays Principal MCGee in Grease

that's probably what you recognize her from

  • @steveatl40 Well actually the nurse is played by Eve Arden who not only did dozens of movies, and starred on Broadway, did radio and toured with Bob Hope in the USO but she starred in her own TV series Mothers in Law with Kaye Ballard.

  • Hey where is the short jingle at the beginning of the episode with the intonation "This is an ABC color presentation?" I remember they used that announcement in all of Batman's 1st season eps in 1966.

  • NURSE KELTON IS PRINCIPAL MCGEE FROM GREASE!!!!

    I KNEW I recognized her.

  • @hatorikunlver it is her!

  • Samantha looks so tired in the first scene. She was probably still actually pregnant.

  • ANNOYING COMMERCIALS

  • I really don't like these episodes in colour. I really think the black in white is much better because it makes their makeup look AWFUL

  • i never seen this one,, hysterical, he thinks hes a grown woman's father, Great!!!

  • Is it just me, or was Bewitched a slightly different series in the earliest years? It seemed to have a lot more heart in the early black and white years, this episode being a perfect example. The show was funny and touching at the same time.

As the series progressed, it got faster paced and gradually went totally slapstick, with a lot less heart.

Again, am I crazy, or has anyone else noticed the change in tone in the later seasons?

  • @cmulwee001 I agree when Tabbitha was a little baby I liked it but after she got older it sucked and I hate Dick Searget It started sucking very bad after a while!

  • tabathia is soooooooo cute did u see her wave at her daddy when he said hi to her

  • We aren't any brighter or smarter than they were when in the 60/70's when these shows were made. The technology is just so much better which makes the actors performances better.

  • Tabitha is played in this episode by two week old Cynthia Black. For the folowing week(s) Heidi and Laura Gentry took over, then older babies Julie and Tamara

young finished out the season. Erin and Diane (Murphy) took over in fall 1966, then in late 1968, Erin took over the part alone.

  • Don't argue with the pregnant witch about to go into labor, Darren

  • Oh hey the nurse played the principal in Grease!! :D

  • When one actor plays two characters in one show- it ought to be the minor characters switching and not the main characters

  • I think they were "as bright back then". Exhibit A: This very charming show....but yes, TV sure has changed from then to now...

  • I guess people werent as bright back then. The nurse said that the flowers were taking all the oxygen in the room, plants dont take oxygen but instead produce more of it!

  • She IS a pretty stupid nurse... :p

  • It would've been more accurate if she'd said they're heavily laden with bacteria and pesticides which both compromise the immune system. Except it's a comedy and most people are too stupid to grasp the concept ...

  • The flowers DO take oxygen, plants and trees make it. So the nurse was correct. Flowers are not plants!

  • It depends on you definition of flower just the petals or the whole plant. The green parts of the plant with light produce excess oxygen and give it off. They don't actually take in oxygen, they get it from the CarbonDioxide and water they break down.

  • bottom line...if there is oxygen in use in a patients room (which there wasnt here...whatever, i guess they just said that for "effect") they will NOT ALLOW flowers, but they will allow plants!

  • The cinemin ads are wayyyyy too lod

  • It looked like the baby waved at Darrin!! And what a beautiful moment between Darrin and Endora!

  • The people who colorized these episodes have no imagination. Everyone's eyes are bright blue. Very boring.

  • Are you colorblind san? Like no offense, I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but I'm asking seriously.

Because Darren has brown eyes, Samantha has green eyes and everyones eye color varies actually.

  • No, I not colorblind. The first two seasons of Bewitched were in black and white. When the DVD's came out they had colorized the black and white episodes. If you look carefully Darrin is one of the few people without colorized blue eyes. Sam had blue eyes for most of the first two season episodes as did the guest stars. When they had a baby it had weird blue/black eyes.

  • Umm.. in every episode when they got close to Sams face it was green like their telephone.

I wasn't the only one in my family that noticed it. :/

If anything they over-used green eyes if they messed up during the colorization process.

Ehh.. Two people with very different views on what they saw lol

    Oh well. Happens! :D

  • What if their eyes wherebright blue?

  • my cousin was born today too :D

    or err yesterday?

  • I first realized that the nurse was Principal McGee from Grease when she said the word identify at 5:12. It reminded me of the time she said "And just because these pictures aren't of your faces doesn't mean we can't identify you," in Grease. I looked it up and found out they were the same person.

  • I knew she looked and sounded familiar.

  • serena and samantha are played by the same person

  • Don't know where "Serena" makes the telephone call-but the pictures on the wall appear later in Larry Tate's office.

  • da da da da da da da the dumbest but addicting song ever

  • I thought Endora was possesed in this episode then she scared Darwin and I knew that she was ok and not suffering from a diesease or one of Uncle Arthurs jokes.

  • "the flowers use up all the oxygen in the room" lol that's stupid where did your 7th grade scince education go lol

  • the nurse is principal mcgee from grease!

  • that nurse was awful rude

  • Samantha: Serena, I must tell you something. I married a mortal.

Serena: (gasping with shock) Darling, you poor dear. HAHA too funny.

  • I like how they later changed Serena with a more "stand-out" personality. In this episode, she looks and acts too much like Samantha. The heart beauty mark and hoity-toity voice and attitude came later. =)

  • Gotta love Eve Arden!

  • aww endora and darrin actually had a moment..it proves how "human" endora can really be lol

  • "Those ridiculous hospital rules!"

  • That nurse is annoying. Let him sit on the bed!

  • OMG you're right!!!

  • HEY, THAT NURSE IS THE PRINCIPAL IN GREASE 1 & 2. i knew she looked familiar.

  • The "nurse" is the wonderful actress Eve Arden. I love her in the movie "Mildred Pierce" as Joan Crawford's best friend.Later Eve had her own t.v. show called "Our Miss Brooks" playing a high school English teacher, she was a great actress and comedienne. And wonderful in Grease.

  • probably my favorite episode

  • i love the freeway comment. "if you don't hurry we may end up calling the baby freeway because that's where it's going to be born!" :P

  • Ahahaha I love that one!

  • @lisetanne That's what happened in real life in the past couple years.

  • HA! Sarina...

    "Okay, ONE more time!" *Straightjacket*

  • It's funny how the men are in the waiting room....oh how things have changed!! My husband is going to be suffering with me!

  • @dollfacestace ya it is=) I have always wondered why that is, someone told me it was because they believed it was a woman's business. I wonder if child birth was natural or all c sections at this time, I heard both so I'm not sure.

  • @lisababy85 mostly natural. C sections became more normal in the past 15 years. C sections are very invasive and infections were more common then.

  • @dollfacestace My father had to wait in waiting room. For some reason he couldn't read a magazine concerning mechanics and the nurse gave my father coffee as if he needed it.

  • Forgot how much I love this show.
