If they can't recycle the glass bottles, they could just bury them. Glass won't leach chemicals into the groundwater, so there would be no need to make it a sanitary landfill.

i got an idea. shred all these bottles to dust and recycle it and make new glass.the labels and other stuff thats not glass will burn up and be filtered out.

It takes very high temperatures to recycle glass, and new glass can be easily made from sand. The economics aren't there anymore.

Is there any way these can be shipped out to the U.S. or even Europe to be used by glass artists? Granted, who would pay for the shipment? Also, I'm sure there are tons of artists here in the U.S. who would love to use the labels from the bottles.
