I still think he is trying to save himself for the 2014 World Cup Qualifiers and the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, so he isnt playing as hard as previous years. I don't like to compare C. Ronaldo and Messi, but Ronaldo would get a lot more votes from people if he stopped diving so much. Him and Robben dive in situations where they would have a great chance to score if they stayed up. Players didn't dive as much 10-20 years ago, which is why Ronaldo(Brazil) scored so many goals.

@Sh0ebakA ronaldo wouldnt have gotten to play because he woulda thought he was the main man. football is a team game which is why barca are currently one of the best club teams around. if they werent a team, in particular messi, then they wouldnt succeed. dont forget messi is a different sort of player, messi playing just of the main striker ( hence why its so amazing to have 47 goles 14 assists ) and ronaldo striker/winger.

@Sh0ebakA United had an amazing team in 07/08. Ronaldo scored alot of headers and tap ins from 6 yards in that season, which meant that it was the work of his team to score those goals. In Messi's 47 goal season, he had a wide variety of goals scored. So if anything, Ronaldo needed the work of his team in his 42 season more than messi did in his 47 goal season if you look at the true statistics and types of goals in which these players scored in those specific seasons.

Also Germany proved they can only play against poor defences and poor midfields. As soon as they came up against a solid team last night, they barely had a touch of the ball haha german Kroat fuckas.
