This game is amazing. Also if you like this and have a gaming pc then you should try ArmA2, it's similar but much better and more realistic. Also, please don't have pointless arguments over which game is better.
The times changes all the time, the mission dragon fury is a good example. It was dark out when I took the town and bright out when I finished taking the naval base.

However the a.i is frustrating at times teammates not following orders or get stuck, and i dislike the checkpoint system, constantly have to follow em instead of choosing your own path. the game has potential but atm it is a bit unpolished unfortunately

Desite what every1 says this game is the closest thing we console players have to a war sim and it does a damn great job at it so i dont understand the haters. How are the devs liars? I play the game, everything they say like all physics & weather is in there. Even the possibllity to cross the map.... but you never do, because your mission ends before you even get 5% cross. :)
the day/night systeme dosent work because no mission is long enough to see the day light change. and the sandbox systeme dosnt work either because you go into briefings and instead of going to another objective after a mission (it would be better if they made you go to a destination for another mission.) you go into a mission update and starts you up at a different location.

It's obviously going to be superior on PC, and the PS3 really shouldn't be used for FPS. It still has at least 15 of the best third person games this generation.
That's really just a matter of opinion I guess, I personally only like the multiplat FPS like The Darkness, Condemned 2, Fear 2, Riddick etc. Even then, they feel kind of clunky for me.

The games is all about team tactics, without the team you're going to have a hard time in this game, yet when you see that the controls are like press Q, D, S, A just to tell team to flank (I'm not kidding you need to press all those 4 keys), then you get an idea what you're getting into and that;'s not just with flanking, but lost of other commands. The driving is terrible and the enemy AI is laughable at times. I stood 5 yards beside an enemy; he didn't see me!
I shot him and then another guy pops up who takes almost 3 seconds to decide what to do with me, after which I decided to shoot him in the head. This guy stood 1 yard away from me lol
The graphcis are disappointing, it looks good in small videos, on alrge monitors it just doesn't look good, poor color, poor textures, houses are poorly modeled, sometimes look like a game from 2003.
Again, the driving is terrible, it's like you're drunk and oh my God, make one mistake and your car is in its side. I was yesterday watching a Ustrem video of someone playing, who had a car on its side twice in 30 minutes. I didn't experience that myself in my own game, but I did tip over 2 times but luckily rended up on 4 wheels again. And when you drive, all people in the car sit there as zombies. If you're in 1st person view in the car, all you see is the boring hood.
Don't try to turn your head, because that is impossible in the car. So if you stop and you have an enemy beside your window pointing a gun at your head, you wouldn't be able to tell, even if you sat there for a million years lol No, driving in first person feels like driving on ice while in a straight jacket nailed to the chair and I'm not kidding.
Of course this is supposed to be a realistic game, so you do get killed more often, which I don;t have a problem with, because it challenges you to find betetr solution, but if you then each time have to start at the last checkpoint, then things get really boring and repetitive after a while if you again have to walk for a mile through grass...yawn. And this is modern war fare, so often you're basically shooting at tiny figures that you often can't even see properly in binoculars!
So you often shoot those tiny dots and often only the voice-over reminds you that you actually killed the guy with the comment "Enemey eliminated". No blood, no head blown off, etc. Sure, you will have those moments, but there aren't many. The reason is that any attack, like in real life, alerts the enemy, after they quickly go after you, so you often don't want to be TOO close, especially if they have a lot more men than you have!
Back about the checkpoint system; I want to remind you that there is no save on demand option, so the only saves possible are your checkpoints!
Open world is great, but I have already seen people claiming on forums that they got a "Mission failed" message after leaving the mission area. People are annoyed about that and I can understand this, because it makes this so called "open world" not so open as many think it is.
But, I repeat again... what bother me most is the command dialer, most team commands take like 3 to 4 key presses. They should have laerned something from Brothers in Arms in which it's much easier. Seriously... who couldn't they tei Ctrl+L to Left Flank insetad of Q, D, W, A?
Imagine havign to do that during action!
You can change shortcuts, but you can't add shortcuts for anything in the command dialer and when you're issues commands or selecting weapons, you can't turn or move!
Now those limitations in control might be acceptable to console players, after all they are used to having limited controls, but on a PC that has a mouse and a keyboard you sure expect it to be a lot better!
Btw, don't assume that you can drive a lot, most of time you're just walking, walking and.... walking...sigh...because THAT had to be realistic too I guess hehe

This is a Training Sim not a game. Ive seen 1000lb bombs people slumping over after getting shot this is as close as you can get to real combat. One shot one kill flesh wounds can kill you if not attended too. I'll be interested to check this out. For what I see we may have many Cherries that will not know what to do and the real solders or real good gamers will have to root out the untrained sofa warriors.

the day/night systeme dosent work because no mission is long enough to see the day light change. and the sandbox systeme dosnt work either because you go into briefings and instead of going to another objective after a mission (it would be better if they made you go to a destination for another mission.) you go into a mission update and starts you up at a different location.

-Die Waffen werden zu groß dargestellt und schwingen selstsam hin und her beim laufen.
-Der Sicht Winkel stimmt iwie nicht, man muss alle fürze lang die maus bewegen und schaut ständig vor bäume etc. = zu nahe darstellung.

The games is all about team tactics, without the team you're going to have a hard time in this game, yet when you see that the controls are like press Q, D, S, A just to tell team to flank (I'm not kidding you need to press all those 4 keys), then you get an idea what you're getting into and that;'s not just with flanking, but lost of other commands. The driving is terrible and the enemy AI is laughable at times. I stood 5 yards beside an enemy; he didn't see me!

Again, the driving is terrible, it's like you're drunk and oh my God, make one mistake and your car is in its side. I was yesterday watching a Ustrem video of someone playing, who had a car on its side twice in 30 minutes. I didn't experience that myself in my own game, but I did tip over 2 times but luckily rended up on 4 wheels again. And when you drive, all people in the car sit there as zombies. If you're in 1st person view in the car, all you see is the boring hood.

Don't try to turn your head, because that is impossible in the car. So if you stop and you have an enemy beside your window pointing a gun at your head, you wouldn't be able to tell, even if you sat there for a million years lol No, driving in first person feels like driving on ice while in a straight jacket nailed to the chair and I'm not kidding.

Of course this is supposed to be a realistic game, so you do get killed more often, which I don;t have a problem with, because it challenges you to find betetr solution, but if you then each time have to start at the last checkpoint, then things get really boring and repetitive after a while if you again have to walk for a mile through grass...yawn. And this is modern war fare, so often you're basically shooting at tiny figures that you often can't even see properly in binoculars!

So you often shoot those tiny dots and often only the voice-over reminds you that you actually killed the guy with the comment "Enemey eliminated". No blood, no head blown off, etc. Sure, you will have those moments, but there aren't many. The reason is that any attack, like in real life, alerts the enemy, after they quickly go after you, so you often don't want to be TOO close, especially if they have a lot more men than you have!

Back about the checkpoint system; I want to remind you that there is no save on demand option, so the only saves possible are your checkpoints!
Open world is great, but I have already seen people claiming on forums that they got a "Mission failed" message after leaving the mission area. People are annoyed about that and I can understand this, because it makes this so called "open world" not so open as many think it is.

But, I repeat again... what bother me most is the command dialer, most team commands take like 3 to 4 key presses. They should have laerned something from Brothers in Arms in which it's much easier. Seriously... who couldn't they tei Ctrl+L to Left Flank insetad of Q, D, W, A?

You can change shortcuts, but you can't add shortcuts for anything in the command dialer and when you're issues commands or selecting weapons, you can't turn or move!

Now those limitations in control might be acceptable to console players, after all they are used to having limited controls, but on a PC that has a mouse and a keyboard you sure expect it to be a lot better!

I know that I sound annoyed about the game and you're rigth, I am, but the fact that I didn't buy the game myself, should you give even more indication how I think about the game, because my disappointment sure has nothing to do with wasting money, because I didn't spend any on this one... luckily enough...

This is a Training Sim not a game. Ive seen 1000lb bombs people slumping over after getting shot this is as close as you can get to real combat. One shot one kill flesh wounds can kill you if not attended too. I'll be interested to check this out. For what I see we may have many Cherries that will not know what to do and the real solders or real good gamers will have to root out the untrained sofa warriors.
