Hah haaaa yeah...I did the same in the nineties with a hip hop band. We were completely shit, but we toured the country and got gigs. It was a great fucking time.
i just saw this commercial on TV (FOX channel) and i was so impressed and had to search it, good luck with them and ROCK ON guys, it's not the money that lead the men, it's the dedication and energy,
I think it's ironic that Converse designed this commercial, considering that Converse shoes are the "poster child" for items of clothing that define conformity. I mean, if you actually look at all those "I'm so unique," self-proclaimed rebels, you'll notice one thing for sure: they're all wearing their "I'm-such-a-little-rebel" black Chucks. And Converse still thinks they have the right to critique superficiality?
I love what I heard of that band... it was so freakin' good in my opinion. I wish they became famous cause they would be really, really good in my opinion.
That Teal green Van didn't have heat!!! I was stuck in it on a snowboard trip in North Carolina....Dude Kurt you should have told me before we left I would have fixed your heat!!!! Start playing shows again MightasWell
This is the band MightasWell from Gainesville, Fl....I grew up with these guys...they use to be "The Mendel's Pees" Check them out on there Myspace page they have shirts, hats and stickers....
hey cheeze, this band is older than rise against. I've seen tons of shows at this venue (Common Grounds; they've since moved and have a much bigger stage... this place is now called 1982). this is just one of tons of bands in/from gainesville with this sound...
I just looked them up on myspace and the only band I could find named Might As Well was from Canada. They are good too but I don't know if it's the same band or not.

This band isn't Rise Against.
Though they may sound like them, they're not. Go to Mightaswell's myspace.
