Hm... Just because someone doesn't have a loud belting singing voice, doesn't mean she can't have a beautiful voice and be a talented singer... Jiyeon has a lovely little voice with tender vibrato. I hate that everyone is always comparing singers to Christina Aguilera type singing like that's the only acceptable way of doing it. It's not. Soyeon does have a stronger voice and more range, but that doesn't take anything away from the beauty of Jiyeon's voice. She has value as a singer, as well. <3

But in my opinion comments on this video blatantly overrate soyeon as a singer in some people's blind pursuit for justice under the misperception that jiyeon stole soyeon's limelight. Truth is, Soyeon leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to handling of the lower range. If you listen carefully she obviously struggled a bit to hit the low note of this song.

I'm not saying Jiwon is uber popular but when CCM first introduced T-ara 5, she was the most well-known, being in GoSa the movie and Good Ent.'s never-debuted girlgroup consisting of Yubin, Hyosung, G.NA and UEE. She has fans prior to that, and Jiyeon didn't, at least not until W.Gen. I'm a horrible singer, I don't receive any vocal training and do not have the intention to become a singer. But I have the right to voice my opinion: this song is much better without Jiyeon.

Jiyeon got her fame mainly from God of Study, not her voice. She can sing, but not that great or anything. She was and still remains one of T-ara's weaker links when it comes to vocal. The song is perfect with Soyeon singing it by herself. Jiyeon and her inferior vocal just ruined it.

So technically, when T-ara debuts, she's the most well-known thanks to being in WGen. Since Lies onwards, it's Hyomin & Eunjung that garners more popularity. TTL-Era, most people paid attention to EunSoMin, not her. She only regains her popularity thanks to GOS. She is not famous for her voice (like Soyeon, Taeyeon,..), she's famous for being cute, in GOS,...
