The Katalysator is removed out of the exhaust and the O2 sensors are overruled bij plugs from Dynojet...They use the plugs to get more race preformance but when you use them to long with a Katalysator in you`re exhaust, the Katalysator goes deffect...
The highest max speed I have driven is 265km/u a while ago in Germany... The ZZR 1200 on witch my brother drives put also on a max of 260km/u just like you...
@thebestVibrations 270kms it's possible, because when i reach the 260kms was during a trip with two small side bags in Lisbon-Algarve Highway. Soo without side bags i tink its possible.
Is a great bike, and the engine is one of the best ever, i have other bikes like a bmw k 1200rs. Vfr is great!!!
Yeah it is, it was in winter on the "Afsluitdijk" a long "enclosing dyke" which seperaties the "IJselmeer" from the North Sea. Many Dutch people try out there top speed on this dyke.
@thebestVibrations When I want to go top speed I go to Germany so I can keep my diverlicense en sometimes a quiet road in Holland!!! But when I realy want to go fast I pull the trottle of the Blackbird from my girlfriend or the ZZR 1100 on whitch my brother drives and take the Autobann to Aken...
The exhaust in the movie is a Remus Grand Prix (high mount) modified by myself, almost a open pipe...The camera is mounted in my tankfillring with extanded bolds...The VFR in the movie has, a K&N filter, no O2 sensors and also the katalysator is deleted so there`s alittle bit more power...
My max. speed was around 270, but speedometer is big liar, by GPS 250+-.
