Wahoo on the Fly- Baja, Mexico Bluewater Fly Fishing

Unfortunately when you catch it trolling with a flyrod its called landing a fish on a flyrod. Not Fly Fishing.

@mfipps Unfortunately, the captain had gone into gear after my fly hit the water. I can assure you that the cast was made while the boat was out of gear and the fish was on before he throttled ahead, but I had no idea that the wahoo existed when I cast the fly into the water. Call it what you will, but I agree with you.

@OpportunityFlyFish No worries Jad. You can see be my google profile I'm setting at over 150 species on the fly. not counting ones caught trolling or any other accidental method. Caught many that didn't count in my book when the conventional guys where trolling in gear.
