This was not a pepsi commercial. This was made for the UNITED NEGRO COLLEGE FUND (UNCF). That's why he's sing this song "I'll be there." If you go search the other people who posted this same video it has the UNCF symbol in the right had corner. I don't know why it's not on this video.

Pepsi was a sponser of UNCF this was still a Pepsi Spot, I have this on tape from when it aired they had like 3 different versions of this same video all ending with him picking up a Pepsi. I sampled this video for my marketing project in college on sponsership and it was definatly a Pepsi commercial
