@Spanishornet I'd be shocked if there wasn't. Did you try asking Heavenly Resort? They have a good Facebook page. We took a super slick bus out of Reno. Once you're at the base of Heavenly, you don't need a car to get around. Good luck!
@Spanishornet: There are. You can check Bay Area Ski Bus and NAC SKI for trips once the season starts. I've used both before and Bay Area Ski Bus is a little bit more expensive, but it has more perks. They give you some things to eat on the way up, have snacks before departure and make a stop on the way for dinner. NAC does none of that, but its less expensive as well.
@domlikespvc Yep! It's Ridge Run ...started filming at the highest point on the Cali side of the hill. It's a nice blue to knock the rust off that ends with a few black options (or you can stick to blue the whole way down)
@jware09 Thanks so much for the info, I am a good intermediate skier and thats it. I like blues as long as they arent too steep as I am sure you know that alot of places rate their trails differently. One places blues can be more black and one places can be more like greens. Anyway, that blue doesnt look steep and right up my alley.
@domlikespvc Nope ..that's a pretty easy blue. Heavenly seems pretty consistent with their rating ...blues are usually pretty easy, blacks challenging and double blacks are expert only.
@jware09 i see... we stay at the Rige resort, go up stage and to dipper and comet... sometimes we ski around to cali side... cali is good for jumps and parks, the north is for powder.... i'm goin up the saturday... and i might have to use 195 ski's instead of 145's... i have to wear size like 32 because my feet are so big, and i'll have to use my uncles skiis, but since he passed away, i hope he won't mind =/. he was good to me. taught me how to ski, get off lifts... etc... know boulder?
@jware09 it all started there. when i was little, he could sit me on his lap, and i could just lightly jump off the lift instead of learning the hard way. unfortunately, all i have is pictures, his snow van wich we use, what was three, now two snowmobiels, and his skis. he had a heart attack about 5 AM when he was going to ski. his buddy was driving, thank god, and he might be alive today if he had gotten to the hospital faster, but he was dead before he hit the operating table.
@jware09 he was really close to me.. i wouldn't be skiing/boarding now if it wasn't for him. he was the rare type- unlimited patience, expierience, everything. i'm sad that i only got to go skiing with him twice. even now as a 13 Year-old, i'm crying even though it happened when i was 7 or 8. memories go along ways, A LONG ways... at first i wanted to blame my parents, the world, anybody. eventually we all fall into one line and accept it... five years later and i'm still not there... i miss him
i'm going there tomorrow!!

@machinegunboy98 Best views are on the Cali side, for sure. But the best snow was in Nevada when we were there...
