  • Oh god, that was extremely creepy O_x

    And when the "Saw" theme began, I was like; Nooo D;

It was also really great though, I just wonder how I will ever get to sleep x3

  • Thumbs up if anyone else recognized the Village music c;

  • I'm pretty sure Edward from Twilight would disagree

  • O.o

  • This isn't new. In fact, this is one of the oldest variations of Little Red Riding Hood ever written. The only thing new is the detail about the corset, but other than that, this version dates back to Early Middle Ages Bulgaria (and possibly older).

  • @JakobDailes I agree completely (the corset part bugs me, it added nothing to the story!). In fact, the ending was so melodramatic that it really seems silly in comparison to some of the even darker versions I've come across. Especially if you know its roots and read it as a cautionary tale that girls who flaunt their sexuality will be raped. Now THAT'S something to think about.

  • hehehe saw theme

  • realy good story!

  • 7:20 >:)

  • Too bad the sound is so crappy :(

  • ...Holy crap.

  • Beautiful O.O Twisted and amazing

  • @tarkurius I think it's the theme music from the SAW movies.......

  • Rule 34, anyone?

  • but wolves realy are stronger so sick new fav story

  • this is how the movie should of been.

  • ACE! i loooove creepy twisted endings, i showed this to my class and they loved it!!

  • That was amazing! I dont like bad endings normally, but this was too epic!

  • F*cking thief. THIS IS NOT HIS WORK PEOPLE, DON'T CREDIT HIM FOR IT.

  • @BMANluvdacrusade Ò.o Next time try to read the description...

  • @Anushic Oh. Apologies. I feel more then slightly foolish right now.

  • @BMANluvdacrusade ;) No big deal

  • @BMANluvdacrusade

Thumbs up for you to have such honor and balls to apologize T.T

  • This might not be the original story of Red Riding Hood, but it is awesome!

  • @Lauren5684 I don't think there is an "original" really. There have been many different versions -- I'm not sure anyone knows definitively which one came first. This is not the version most kids hear today, it's true, but it is a version that has been around for a long, long time.

  • @stephantom The oldest and most originial Version is "Le petite Chaperon Rouge". There was no Hunter in it, and the Wolf killed both, the Grandmother and the Red Riding Hood. The Interpretation for this is that little children, little girls, shouldn't trust any people they dont know. Raping has increased in those times. So well, this whole story was just a nice spelled warning ^^. The brothers Grimm have rewritten the story to a childish tale =) The origins of this story is a mystery

  • @Barukusu Right, right. I guess that is the oldest recorded version. Being a folk tale, the very first version ever was just told orally and is completely lost to us.

  • @Barukusu Brothers Grimm were pressured to change some stories. Disney is really the one responsible for making fairytales more child friendly. Most of Brothers Grimm original fairytales are worse than this one.

  • That was totally kick-ass! ^_^ I especially like how the wolf is more of a werewolf than an ordinary beast. ^_^

  • Epic music, too! :D

  • That.

    Was.

    AWESOME!

  • like this than better :)

  • Poor red Riding hood.

  • well that was disturbing...I LOVED IT!epicness

  • very good flash

  • epic evil laugh

  • ...but wolves really are...stronger... MUAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH lol gets me everytime

  • is there a written version of this?

  • OMG!!!!!! thank you so much for uploading this to YT!!!!!

  • if this blows u guys away u should really try watching a movie sometime... watch avatar and u get a heartattack

  • @TrippleCheeseClub Hm, maybe they wouldn't since avatar sucks ass.

  • @lionyates u know wat u fucking douchebag fuck face? SHUT THE FUCK UP. and dont try 2 act cool like every1 u know think avatar sucks, cus then u have no friends

  • @DonkymanCominAtYa and you just showed how little intelligence you have and how easily you're impressed, it's a piece of shit rip off of dances with wolves, but in space. and ohh it's in 3d, so amazing, not.

  • @lionyates avatar wasnt ripperd off of dances with wolves, it was ripped off of pocahontas!

I am currenly in middle of watching it and I cant go 2 minutes without turning it off because of all the lameness

  • I like how you put the Saw music in there makes it more scarier.

  • damm, this one I really liked XD much beter then the other ones.

Dark, but I think that is what is so good.

  • The reason why this version of red riding hood is so different than the milk and cookies version u all know is because this is the original(which is probably older than the new testament). In fact all of the original Grimm stories are pretty dark.

  • esto es esta de pelos como diria egoraptor AWESOME!!!

  • A darker, Bishonen version of Red Riding Hood... EPIC!!!

  • am i the only one who noticed the 'levitating' wine glass when the wolf was laughing?

  • now that is dark... and really bad ass

  • intense

  • this is epic! lol. the ending was amazing. especially when the SAW music comes on. the facial expressions are on point. i love it! and this version is a hell of a lot better than the sugar coated version we heard when we were children.

  • loved it

  • BADASS...kinda fucked up tho

  • HAHAHA! FREAKING A-Some!

  • AWSOME!! So simple and so awsome..

  • An absolutly spectacular short film.

  • thats some epic story there. I love the saw music and the amusing plot twist at the end.

  • the first time I watched this video I got shills and goose bumps all over my body, it's is so well-made and yet so horrible

  • at 4:52 she is invinsible

  • I don't know why, but I LOVE this guy's voice.

  • This is the most amazing one ever!!!

  • The ending gets me everytime. This is my favorite version of Red Riding Hood. =]

  • oh man i love this fairy tale it's such a classic and has been done in so many gruesome and imaginative versions.

  • at the end the cup was floating

  • most epic ending ever

  • when i was a kid (4 jears old) i cried for that story and nightmares but the i see it and its AWESOME

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!! Total twist with the WOLF READING THE STORY!!! XD

  • lol, PG13 version!

  • WHOA! That sure was one hell of a story! Really cool animation! And that sure was a surprise at the end when it turned out that it was the wolf telling the story the whole time! It seems for once the wolf is victorious! And not even the hunter could stop him this time! Talk about a grim ending! Whoo!

  • That is essentially how the original story went.

Except the mother was the grandmother, and there was no uncle. Also, it was the path of pins rather that nails...And the wolf actually made her strip for him and crawl into bed with him...

It's truly a dark story. It's no wonder Disney hasn't touched it.

  • Actually, little red riding hood was originally a French peasents tale warning girls about ready to hit puberty about sexual predators. They only started adding the hunter and the eating part as a means to drill in that women should know their place and that they, as the 'weaker sex' should do what the men tell them.

  • Wait wait, so there is technically a truer version of this? *interested in Fairy Tales* I know many of the truer ones, but this is the first I'd heard of a Red Riding Hood story...... anyone have a link?

  • the music sounds scary....

  • The music is from SAW.

  • I thought it sounded familiar! thanks!

  • OMG! i absolutly love this story. a sick twisted plot and an unexpectd ending. it doesnt get much better than that.

  • Oh man. I LOVE THIS. It's twisted and utterly wicked, yet somehow sticks to the original tale without seeming to childish... the new aspects really make this story brilliant e.g, the steel corset and the talking animals and birds.

Yeesh...I jumped outta my seat when the wolf banged onto the scene...sitting to close to the screen :)

And the fact that some of the music is from the SAW movies makes it creepier :)

  • i love this! i watched it for days and days....it so perfectly melevolent and evil. i like how the wolf is designed, and i love how he is in his devious way. hes that good! i love it! thank you for posting, now i can show my freinds.

  • Thank you so much for uploading this! =^^= I really loved this when it was on Newgrounds. I love the ending~

    God, what a laugh! XD

  • this is better than the original... but scarier....

  • this always freaks me out especially with the music but it looked cooler on newgrounds

  • I remember seeing this on NewGrounds. Gosh, I love this.

  • Same XD Its very good better than good

  • Can someone give me the text to this

I mean the story... oh what the heck, I think you understand what I mean ^_^'

  • de hecho esta es casi cmo la version mas vieja del cuento

  • yes, this is most definantly the brother's grimm version of this classic tale. The BG had lots of tales like this... but seeing it in a cartoon like this makes it all worth while. I hate the cute abstraction to this tale. I'm gonna read this to my kids when I have em. MWA HA HA HA!!! :D

  • Hmm....I gotta find a copy of that book!

  • actually, it is yet another adaption of the Grimm's classic tale.

  • te ka riifAS!!!

  • ala ya lo tengo k bueno k lo sbiste

  • es el primer video en el que se puede ver como el lobo disfrazado de abuela le ofrece a caperucita la carne y la sangre de su abuela antes de devorarla.
